Description of 🖨️ AMOLEN Shiny Printer Filament 1.75mm

SHINY SILK PLA Filament - Mix with silk gold and shiny red, the filament makes your print work more interesting and colorful. The gold filament is smooth like silk and the red filament has many flash points so that it looks matte but sparkling. EASY TO PRINT - The 3D printer filament is suitable for many FDM 3D Printers and easy to print with not very high temp. It has good adhesion between layers, no bubbles, no warpage, good toughness, and a very smooth and shiny surface can be obtained. QUALITY MATERIAL - The raw materials come from the United States. The PLA filament is odorless, more safe and harmless to children. KEEP DRY - Vacuum package with desiccant, the bag with sealing strip can be reused after use to keep the PLA filament dry. Top cover packaging box, easy to take and use. WORRY-FREE REFUND - Any problems about the pla filament, please contact us to solve the problems. If you don't like it when you get it, you can get a replacement or a refund without reason.

Do not buy this brand

Virtually no glow. Even after an hour of "charging" with black light, the glow is almost completely extinguished in less than 2 minutes. Also, it seems to clog the nozzle more often than most other patches I use. Save yourself time and frustration and just buy another brand.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Mixed feelings Best consumables for 3D printing

I don't know the model that shows color changes. I find that the length of thread needed to change the color is too long and can give strange results. I've had prints that came out all blue or all silver. Just over 100 grams for each of these prints. I received a print with a normal transition. May work better if your parts are very large and use a lot of filament. Perhaps the manufacturer changed the spacing.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

This color just won't print

There are a few other threads from this brand that work well but for some reason this blue/silver just doesn't stick. It acted like it needed more heat, even at 220/75C it didn't stick at all. I tried a hairspray I never use, the bottom layer started to stick and then peeled off like it was too cold. It also seems to be thinner than the multicolored glow I switched to after that, which has held up well without any modifications and normal PLA temp. Either I have a bad batch, or it takes a lot…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
