Complete rubbish, lousy customer service

I bought the first one and noticed almost immediately that the dial didn't read zero, so I contacted them and they sent me the second one. I thought great, no problem. I've used the replacement maybe 6 or 7 times and again the watch face wouldn't reset so I contacted them and told them that although the circumstances had expired the warranty I wanted a refund. We exchanged 3 emails in which they claimed not to have received a photo or description of the problem which I sent them twice at their…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Inconsistent zero on calipers

Not sure how this gets such high marks unless I have a bad one. The quality seems good, but I don't get a stable zero - it changes to 0.020 inches. If I was happy with that level of accuracy, I would use a ruler. the dial rotates. The design appears to be fundamentally flawed, with the inch dial and metric dial rotating at different speeds. There's no way to sync them to zero, even if null was constant - you could just null it for one or the other, not both, if only they were out of sync when…

I love using this DUAL caliper.

. The one I have is very accurate and doesn't need reloading other than rubbing the blade from time to time. After that it always goes back to zero. Being able to read both metric and SAE data with one tool saves me a lot of time as I often work with both these days. One thing I would recommend for a manufacturer is to stamp mm/in at the beginning of the scale where you start reading, not at the end. For some reason most vernier calipers have a linear scale marking at the end, which is…

Pros
  • . Perfect for outdoor activities.
Cons
  • . Not the best.

Worked fine for 3 days, then broke.

Great idea - always have a dual scale caliper handy - if it works. They lasted 3 1/2 days in store before something broke inside. Now they are a very nice paperweight. For the very short time they worked, they were excellent. I tested them against a set of Starrett gauge blocks, starting at .0135 and going up to 4 inches. The readings were also accurate on the metric side. However, all that convenience and accuracy isn't worth a penny if it doesn't work. I am a machinist by profession, I am…

A tool. two dimensions. No batteries or stainless steel!

I bought this ANYTIME TOOLS Dual Reading Dial Caliper because the batteries in my digital calipers always ran out when I needed them for work. My garage in Deep South Georgia doesn't have air conditioning yet, which means the batteries just won't work and the steel tools have to be touched or they'll rust. That stainless steel caliper! I wanted an answer that 1) meant there was a tool I could keep up with and 2) no more batteries! I found this mechanical caliper with two scales (SAE AND METRIC)

Pros
  • Inside, outside, tilt and depth measurement.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Very accurate WITHOUT BATTERIES - EASY to use. SAE and METRIC sizes

I am happy. I design things to 3D print, a lot of them like battery covers and various missing or broken parts. It sure makes my wife excited about the 3D printer if I can make a replacement part for her dishwasher (in PETG, not PLA) that costs $45 + shipping and 45 days wait. I use my calipers a lot. I have tried 2 battery operated devices in the last year. Batteries need to be changed very often, they are terribly sensitive to moisture and die early since I live in south Louisiana. Their…

Ideal calipers.

Failed to load media. I noticed that this cool looking caliper had some pretty bad reviews. And very good reviews. I decided to give it a try and I think I did pretty well. This thing arrived today, April 22, 2021. I'm not a locksmith or anything so I tried to make a video to help you all. I think the bad reviews were just unfortunate, or maybe even an application error, because mine seems very good at $36. I know nothing about calipers, but my old digital calipers were buggy and I was tired of
