🔧 Astro 9402 16-Inch Snap Ring Pliers - Set of 2 Review

Looks like the US version but It's so badly designed I sent it back The pins are advertised as .120 but they are actually .106 which makes the snap ring loosen even the picture isn't what you get , so don't waste your time or money on this piece of junk. Buy ATD or OTC brands to get quality. Absolutely useless!

In my opinion are the cheap cellar quality tools and not suitable for circlips of any size. I was trying to remove the snap rings on the BMW wheel bearings and the tool just folded in on itself. Handles are not made from one piece of metal. Each handle consists of two parts connected by a very light embossing. I didn't even bother to return them. I just threw them in the trash where I think they belong. And by the way, they didn't come in a case as pictured.

Large and quite heavy tool. The problem is that two of the small screws holding the various tips have been stripped. Also the tips didn't snag on the huge 4 inch locking rings I was trying to install. I was able to squeeze the ring but when I tried to put it back on the tip slipped off the retaining ring. The screw for the stop lever was missing in the box. Then when he tried to put pressure on the pins, he slipped off the retaining ring. Wrongly installed pins found out from the package.
