This is a very neat addition to my Vornado. Only the best antifungal descaler for the best and most effective moisturizer. Hard water in Arizona is bad for everything. This BestAir product is perfect for Arizona humidifiers.

I've been using it for many years, saves a lot of filters. I have a large 4 gallon Holmes HM3500 humidifier and prior to using this product I used 3 or 4 filters between December and March each year. Filters cost between $10 and $20 Canadian each.

I bought a portable evaporative cooler for my bedroom. From the first second of use it smelled musty like wet cardboard. I bought a bottle of this to try. Just 2 full caps of this per gallon of water knocked out the funk right away. I will be buying another box of these especially when summer comes.

All winter I used a bacteriostatic water treatment in my humidifier. It works as advertised and is great. This did not add to the salt load that builds up on the humidifier's paper evaporative screen. I haven't had any problems with fungus or bacteria. I buy it in the maximum quantity to reduce shipping costs.

Bacteriostatic Liquid is a great product, I've been using it for a while. Now they have a new bottle (supplier?) and the seam opposite the handle came undone halfway through my order (plastic came loose, seam came undone). The liquid sloshed all over the shipping container and of course the bottles were only 2/3 full. I wrote to the manufacturer but they ignored my letter.

Keeps algae out of the humidifier and doesn't emit an odor. Please note that you are purchasing this material in packs of 6, so the unit price will be much higher. I bought this set of 3 graduated cylinders; 10ml, 50ml, 100ml with plastic caps; Eisco Labs Class B borosilicate glass to measure what was needed as using the lid is no start for me. I don't want bleach on my fingers and this keeps things clean and tidy.

This product has been used for several years in combination with another Best Air mineral treatment. Expensive use of two products with partial or unsatisfactory results. We switched to the BestAir Combo product and now use one canister instead of two. Here is a photo of the inside of my evaporative humidifier (Vornado Evap40). Nice and clean, no algae or other ugly things growing in it! I use it non-stop throughout the winter as I heat my house with wood stoves which really causes low humidity issues.
