Bilstein 24186070 Shock Absorber Ram Review

Big shocks love how it rides. Mine drove a 2008 Dodge 2500 4x4 diesel. You can believe how much better these shocks are than some other brands. Raised the front of my truck 1 1/2 inches.

Excellent dampeners and I bought them at a great price cheaper than any store and any online. They don't drive a diesel Dodge like a Cadillac, my diesel still drives like a diesel, but they handle the load better than stock shocks and should last longer, you can't beat the warranty. I needed to replace the shocks on my Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel and made the mistake of listening to a chain store parts dealer and bought Rancho shocks. I replaced the ranch with these Bilsteins after 6 months. Doesn't matter. My truck has never been better! If it wasn't for the winter, I would have changed them sooner.

Before deciding on this particular dampener I read many reviews and noticed that some of them put more effort than necessary into the installation including removing the batteries. the intake pipe was connected to the air filter box and I have an 05 diesel. I loosened the lower shock bolt on the passenger side, using some extensions loosened the 2 internal bolts on the shock absorber, pulled through the tire and loosened the 3rd.
