After laying a few layers of molding material on top of my clay model, I soaked the cut pieces in this fiberglass cloth and laid them on top of the model for extra strength. Ideal for many repairs that you have to deal with. Good size, easy to use. I had an old Bissel garage vacuum with a badly cracked top plate. I cleaned it up, cut out a fiberglass patch to match the crack. I applied a coat of 10 minute epoxy to the back of the broken part, making sure the glue filled the cracks. I then laid the patch over the wet glue and pressed it down with a flexible plastic knife. Then I added a thin layer of epoxy to the patch: great result; Probably stronger than new.

I used this fiberglass cloth and resin to repair some interior panels on my '95 Jeep Cherokee. The brittle plastic made the plastic crack and break when removing the sunroof back panel, although I did my best to avoid this with the right tools. My 86ft 4Runner has A LOT of rust that I'm slowly removing. When filling a large hole in the body, this fiberglass cloth works great. It's a nice thick weave that adheres well to the resin and covers large gaps. I like to cut it into 2 inch strips for work. First I clean the inside of the hole with 2 part resin and put some fiberglass cloth in the hole and press it against the back of the hole so it catches with the resin I placed there. I have struggled with a cracked pool step for several years. I've used two step epoxy rods and flex tape and other quick fixes. Eventually I got fed up as a new crack formed on the step. That's great. I applied the white epoxy pigment before adding the hardener to the epoxy and mixing well. I added the hardener according to the instructions.
