Poor packaging, hanging 20 hour print towards the end.

The filament got stuck at the end of a long print and cannot be fed. The thread is crossed in such a way that it is not being fed properly. This is my second role and both had issues. I will not buy this brand again.

Pros
  • No nasty smoke when printing
Cons
  • Wrinkle

Does the job but in 3D printing Filament

I've been using the spool for about 4 months now and it's a decent filament. Prints are good, has a translucent appearance. The problem is that this filament is sticky as it likes to stick to the nozzle itself. It's frustrating at first, I have to "help" the filament on the first print, it curls up around the nozzle, if you don't go in there and crush it you're in for a mess. I've used other threads and haven't had this problem. In general it works, but you have to get used to its bad behavior.

Pros
  • Low material shrinkage - less warping
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not the best at staying with yourself.

My first print with this filament at 195ΒΊC was very poor, the layers were brittle and had poor adhesion. Compared to another brand I've used before (I won't name them here), I had to crank this thread to 210C and set the flow rate to 103% to get good layer adhesion with adequate side hoop strength. Once I did that, the part printed fine. If you are considering buying and using this brand, be aware that you may need to extrude it in a higher PLA temperature range to get good print quality.

Pros
  • Made with the highest quality material
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived
