Durable replacement

Purchased to replace the original cylinders on the Liftime reservoir which withstood 47 pounds of force. The Lifetime cylinders were brittle and too strong. They actually warped the lid and bent the hinges. Suspa cylinders are rated at 40 lbs. everyone works great. They also have a much heavier, more durable construction.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • dented

Super easy installation, no sagging of the door, just buy it!

Quick and easy installation. I did it as one person. Just do one side at a time. Start from the bottom, it's a little easier. From the moment you open the box, removing and attaching the plastic film takes a maximum of 2 minutes! So cheap the RV/truck cover won't hit you on the head. Why don't you do this repair?

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Damaged

You are pretty good.

They have been on my camper for a few months. They started very solid and strong. I wanted to open the rear window a few days ago and it sagged quite a bit. The Def has lost a bit of integrity but maybe because the window has been closed for the past few weeks and it's hot in the summer sun. By price. they are not bad. I think they're only $17 a pair versus $40 apiece at the parts store.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I will add later

Best to avoid this product in Lift Legs

Had to replace the gas struts on my SnugTop camper setup. Works perfectly. Update: 3/2017: At first this product was great. But now, after 5 months, this product is out of service. The struts no longer have enough strength to lift the glass at the back of my RV. He will hold the glass but you have to help him up. Avoid this product. I went through the 30 day return policy and now need to redeem another set of racks.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Parts as described - performance too slow

Parts as described although I had to guess a bit as the exact part number I was replacing was out of stock and had to be custom made at almost $100. I took some measurements and guessed it, so everything works fine. My van must be at least 20 years old and have a large rear window (quite heavy). My only complaint is that compared to many other online sellers and purchases I've made it takes too long (10-14 days) even after paying for shipping - still nothing beats a full set of tires from Tire…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Style 90

Perfect for our bar window!

We purchased these hydraulic lifts for a louvered window that we have installed in our shed. Yes! We're turning our barn into a bar! We cut out a window to our shed and added a piece of wood on hinges. We really wanted to be able to hold the wooden window without a chain mount, especially since we don't have a canopy to attach it to. So we decided to buy these landing gear and we are so happy we did. I didn't weigh it, but I think a piece of wood weighs around 30-40 pounds. and these support…
