Does what it should!

I ordered this IR emitter to use with the Logitech Harmony Hub at my entertainment center. The TV is obviously not in the box with the rest of the equipment so I needed something with a decent length of cord that could be plugged into the TV. All requirements were thus fully met. The supplied adhesive tape fixed the transmitter and the TV worked right away. Also, the LED built into the transmitter tells me when the Harmony Hub is sending a signal, so it's very easy to troubleshoot if there's aโ€ฆ

All in all a great product!

I've been looking for a solution for my new home for several weeks. I just got a 55-inch LED-backlit LCD TV and new leather furniture, and the last thing I wanted in the room was an electronics unit emitting multi-colored LEDs from every knob and switch. I installed a shelf in the garage right behind the TV. and now I have one of the cleanest setups I've ever seen. I tried 3 or 4 different IR repeaters for $40-150 and none met my expectations. 2-5 seconds and some just didn't work. The 40430โ€ฆ

Great product for audio and video accessories

This product works GREAT and is very good value compared to others. I recommend using this product with wireless repeaters for reliability and a clean install. PROS: Very neat setup and very accurate repeater for a complete system with a 52" Sony LCD. Many cables and expandable. Feels like a well built product with clear labeling on the packaging for easy installation. I added a standard 12ft 3.5mm M/F stereo extension cable to extend the included 10ft IR receiver cable. Should have bought a year ago

My entertainment center is right in front of me in the living room. However, the AV receiver sits on the bottom shelf and is concealed by a coffee table. Because of this, my Logitech Harmony One remote has trouble "seeing" it and I have to raise my hand and wave the remote to adjust the volume. No fun. I used to look at IR repeaters and all I found were cheap $20 ones that I didn't trust and others that cost around $100. After spending countless thousands on an entertainment system, I justโ€ฆ

Bought an Xbox One without a Kinect? This is the cable you need.

When Microsoft decided to offer Xbox One without the Kinect, I was overjoyed. an easy way to save $100 on a peripheral I don't need. As far as I know I could still enjoy all the features of an Xbox One media hub without the Kinect, I just needed a special cable called an IR emitter. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Microsoft didn't sell it or officially endorse it. And of course neither the Microsoft Store nor GameStop nor the Xbox forums I searched had any suggestions for me. Soโ€ฆ

Ideal for custom installation, flexible and simple design.

Great repeat set. I use it to control a Sony Blu-Ray disc player and a Sky decoder hidden in a closet. The appearance of the receiving part in my kit differs from the picture. Instead of the IR panel pictured, mine has two LEDs embedded in the front, this may be important to some, but it's not a problem for me. By the way, one of the LEDs is a light blue indicator that confirms the activity of IR radiation when a command is sent from the remote control. Installation is very simple: you mountโ€ฆ

Works fine now! good for remote controls and accessories

as usual item as described and shipped quickly. I read many other reviews before ordering and found that there are far more people who say the product works as it should than those who say it doesn't. I unpacked the parts, read the instructions and connected them accordingly. The instructions say that if I'm using a switched outlet to plug into the top connector, the light should be green. (If I plugged it into the bottom port it would go straight to an unswitched outlet and turn red) Anyway, I

Consider wireless remote control instead

If all your devices work well with the extender, you're good to go. If not, then it's a nightmare. I ended up switching to an RF remote and I love it. You should probably consider starting with an HF route instead of using a repeater. The URC RFS200 PowerPak Bundle with MasterControl RF20 and PowerBlaster is a good choice if you're willing to take the time to program it, but once installed it works much better for RF and emitter controlled package components.
