It's ok but not great

I've used it a few times and it keeps my phone dry and allows me to take photos while kayaking. Not the most comfortable thing around the neck. Phones are quite heavy and bulky, especially after putting on a life jacket and already feeling a bit restricted. The plastic fastener is loose or perhaps shouldn't stay on. Part of it came loose after the first use but it snapped back into place and still seals great. But it makes me nervous because I'm not sure how long it will last. All in all it's…

Great tube case

Last weekend my husband and friends went on the river and I had this case. I tested it on fabric before, but was still skeptical. Well there have been a few times when I fell into a river and was swept away by the current and my phone stayed dry. This case is the perfect size for an iPhone 6+ and I was also able to fit my friends iPhone 6s along with credit cards and driver's license at the same time. There is a screw lock on the clip to keep the phone from coming loose and the strap is pretty…

We hold it! suitable for rowing and sailing

My husband's phone is very large and heavy due to the case he uses so it was difficult to find one that would fit his phone and keep him afloat. He has an iPhone 12 Pro Max with Life Case, I believe it weighs 11.8 ounces. It fits snugly, but it goes in and out and it floated when I tested it in our sink. I also like that they glow in the dark. The touchscreen works in this case (but not face recognition), but it's a little slow to respond, maybe a little awkward, but it works. They seem solid…

FLOATING HULL FAILED ON FIRST USE + NO FACE ID

The clear (non-floating) model usually lasts a year or two with regular use, but the soft/floating version didn't work on my first sailboat outing. As always, the phone came in an Otterbox Deferder case (soft rubber). The edge stitching directly on either side of the iPhone had small tears, although the calico was safely tucked inside my life jacket most of the time. I think the padding puts more pressure and stress on the seams. So far the touchscreen is working fine BUT none of the cases…

Doesn't last long

I wish I could give this 4 stars instead of 3, I bought this case to use when kayaking. I've used it 3 times and every time I take my phone out the case gets thinner and thinner. It closes with two magnets (that don't even touch) and two plastic clips that you twist sideways to open and close. After 3 uses it looks like the clips are about to break. It really does serve the intended purpose of keeping your phone dry. You can answer a call when a call comes in, but the caller can't hear you…

Waterproof but be careful in hot weather

Totally waterproof. I took this to the water park and by the end of the day my phone and cards in it were completely dry. I tested it in a tub with paper inside before doing it for real and it's extremely waterproof. A word of caution though. If you are outside in the heat I recommend removing your phone from the case before placing it in the case and checking it from time to time. My phone seemed to be very close to overheating and shut down. It felt quite hot when I took it out and turned it…
