The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Got pros: Fast, accurate, sharp even on 10mm holes, can be shot handheld at 1/15 second without movement, allows you to put on filters of standard thickness and even polars without vignetting Cons: HA is more than that of sigma, there are glare, there is no hood in the kit.

Nice price, good quality.

I bought the lens before a trip to South America, I just bite my elbows) I chose the ones that I like the most)) processing of all photos only in lightroom, photoshop - sharpening during resizing (batch). Pros below: the main advantage is the focal length, unfortunately, in my opinion 11-16, and as a result, I felt both in the store, 11-16 is really a very small range, if there were a big difference in quality, I would agree to a fix, but other things being equal, Canon is much more convenient!

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

Excellent creative gl, I tried 4 copies, The front lens sits deep enough, then the hood does not save, Ru/users/stopphotoshop/album/127242/ Ru/users/stopphotoshop/view/395968/? page=0 page=1 I advise you to take it on a crop and have no doubts.

Pros
  • Lightweight, compact, very sharp, My copy is very sharp, when focusing from a meter onwards, it is sharp from 0 he doesn’t need a stub, nothing was covered.
Cons
  • Many people write about the fact that there is no lens hood in the kit, I bought it separately, I don’t use it, I don’t need it, only if I put it on in the rain so that the filter doesn’ all widths distort reality, and they are not portraits at all.

In combination with a polarizing filter, the sky draws fantastic, not only in the morning and evening, but also during the day! Night landscape shots are just as impressive. Got pros: The main advantage is a wide-angle zoom, I use it on a Canon 40D! When shooting landscapes with a fix, you don’t run too much. Some cons: When shooting at 10 mm, distortion is noticeable at the corners of the frame. This lens will no longer go to full format because EF-S. If you switch to 5D, then the lens will…

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

I thought about buying a width for a long time. Even too much . As a result, I took this glass, despite its price. I tried to shoot with sigma, tamron. Unfortunately, I did not get to the tokina (after all, these glasses are rather rare in our use). Why canon 10-22? Because this is the largest width in the range of focal lengths. There is no other like it yet. There are no problems with focusing, everything is very clear. I won’t say that the lens gives crazy sharpness, but in general…

Pros
  • Native width on cropped cameras from canon. USM motor, I will give 4 points to the quality of the picture. Quite sharp among analogues (that is, the width of the crop). The widest range of any width on Canon. Well, the glass is original.
Cons
  • Canon hoods are clamped on all non-L-s (but in width it is very necessary), the price is rather big, in the price-quality ratio it outweighs the price, and the quality is not at a very high level. There is no other original alternative from canon, there is only this one and that's all. Of course, there is a tamron, a tokin, a sigma, but there is nothing else (similar) from canon. The next point (this is a technical characteristic, not a drawback) is that this lens cannot be used on a full frame, it is made only for crop, in fact, this is why it gives 10-22, which gives 16-35 in equivalent.

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

No doubt, a wonderful model, back in 2022 there were no analogues to it in terms of picture quality, angle, type of distortion (virtually absent barrel). But now, when there is sigma 10-20 / 4-5.6 and 10-20 / 3.5 - there is absolutely no point in buying it - monstrously expensive, with a less reliable construct, a second filter that fits into the frame, well, sigma comes with handbag and lens hood, which separately costs more than a thousand canon.

Pros
  • Excellent picture, relatively small aberrations and vignetting, acceptable drop in sharpness at the edges, light, small.
Cons
  • "To the touch" - much worse than competitors from Sigma (10-20). Plastic, zoom and focus rings do not move smoothly. By the beginning of the 3rd year of active use, I began to miss at a wide angle when shooting something that is 3-5 meters away. It focuses somewhere further, I met a similar problem not only on my copy. Another drawback: if you put two filters on it (for example, a protective y-violet and a polarizer), then at 10mm in two corners of the frame you can see strong blackouts - the edges of the filter fall into the frame, which, again, does not happen with Sigma 10-20.

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

In combination with a polarizing filter, it gives simply amazing results. I think that 40D + Canon EF-S 10-22 is quite a worthy budget alternative to 5D mark II + Canon EF 16-35. 95% of mere mortals will never distinguish photos taken at 40D + 10-22 from photos taken at 5D + 16-35, but the difference is 70 thousand (!). It makes sense to pay such money for such a difference only when you earn money from photography. And so. With focus almost never makes mistakes even in the dark. This lens…

Pros
  • Very sharp lens for landscape and architectural photography. Lightweight, silent, accurate focusing, quite acceptable "barrel", minimal chromatic aberrations, "keeps" backlight well.
Cons
  • Dark.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

If you are looking for an ultra-wide crop - no need to think anymore, take this lens. Excellent workmanship, fixed front lens, trunk does not move out, dust does not suck, etc. Light. The image quality is a solid four, but this is a common feature for such (wide-angle) lenses. If you are fond of landscapes, reporting in 'cramped' conditions, interior shooting - definitely take this lens! In general, I strongly recommend it for purchase if you have a crop and you do not plan to switch to full…

Pros
  • Weight, design, picture quality.
Cons
  • Price.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

I wanted to buy a Tokina 124, but I got a slightly used Canon 10-22 with a good discount. I don't regret one bit! The minimum aperture, by the way, is 22 at the wide end and 29 at the long end. And the minimum focusing distance (0.24 m) is apparently considered from the optical center - in practice, you can focus on an object 13-15 cm from the front lens. With such a wide angle in the room, it is sometimes difficult to control the light. and you have to more carefully monitor the verticals and…

Pros
  • The widest lens for Canon APS-C. It turned out to be smaller and lighter than I expected from it. Fast and accurate focusing. Great sharpness. Chromatic aberration and barrel roll are less than expected. Excellent build quality.
Cons
  • Price. No hood included. Dark, but only Tokina 116 is lighter.

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

With any comparisons, you always want to add - depending on what to compare with. In this case, I am comparing not with other widths that I have not used, but with universal glasses of both economy and professional class. Now the duty kit consists of this lens and 28-300L. So, the picture is really good. I will not write about aberrations, geometry, vignetting, now Lightroom corrects this automatically and quite well. It’s more difficult with sharpness, so I’ll write about it - it’s very good…

Pros
  • wide angle Color rendering Sharpness in the main field Weight (compared to the professional series)
Cons
  • Expensive filters for 77 and not all fit in height Edge sharpness A somewhat flimsy design, of course, when compared with an elka, but here the weight differs significantly. Shooting with CPL at wide angle results in a dark band in the middle of the image (I suspect this at all wide angles), so consider if you need CPL.

at best from beginner to amateur. This is my first real lens.

I am not a professional photographer; at best from beginner to amateur. This is the first real lens I've ever owned and I'm using it on a Canon T5i which I bought last year, my first DSLR. As part of my job I shoot around 250-300 shots a week so a solid camera body and lens is essential. This lens delivers significantly better image quality than the lens that came with the T5i, especially when compared to the good image quality of my old Canon PowerShot. Colors are bright and not that flat…

Pros
  • Round opening gives natural reflections

Spread out!. to the harvest!

This lens has a TON of reviews. so I'll stick with a few short lists/facts. This is all from my PERSONAL experience with my particular lens and is in no way an attempt to spit other people's catchphrases or "facts" out of their mouths. USM and Tamron 70-300mm at its best)* Permanent manual focus override* Ultra wide angle to near "normal” on ASP-C sensor (cropped)* Smooth operation, good fit and finish. Not a metal tube but still feels solid* Good contrast* Handles distortion VERY well at max…

Pros
  • 1 Year Warranty
Cons
  • Hardware

Impressive IQ for wide-angle zoom

Early 1990s. Wide landscapes, working in the tightest of spaces and a comfortable grip are the hallmarks of this series. The EF-s 10-22 3.5-4.5 USM is the first lens to use this range for cameras with an APS-C sensor (1.6x crop) such as the 7D, 60D, 70D and Rebel. The zoom and focus rings are a little rough and hard. After a year it has loosened up nicely but is still a notch below the smoothness of my EF-s 15-85 3.5-5.6 IS USM. It is light and delicate: it fits comfortably in a jacket pocket…

Pros
  • 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 wide-angle zoom lens with maximum aperture for EOS DSLRs
Cons
  • Only available in black
