Before the update it worked fine. They have the worst customer service!

The key worked fine (not great) when I bought it. After installing the software update as well as updating the dongle firmware, I can no longer use it. Delay on a phone call 5s. After numerous attempts to contact support, they finally sent me a file claiming to have the latest firmware, which my computers recognize as corrupt.

STOP WORKING AFTER 1 MONTH!

BUYER ATTENTION! When I first bought/installed this CarPlay dongle, it worked great. ABOUT ONE MONTH. Now it only works intermittently; It works about once a week, but most of the time it doesn't even recognize the phone when it's connected to the network! If the manufacturer ever responds to my messages, maybe they will fix the problem and send me a new key. Until then, AVOID THIS PRODUCT! BUY ANOTHER KEY FROM ANOTHER COMPANY!

Last app update didn't work on Android 10

I got this to work on my Galaxy Tab 8 inch tablet so I could use my Android phone with Android Auto on a bigger screen than my phone can use. Version 2019.09.28.1931 worked fine. When I updated to version 2021.01.08.1651 the app stopped working. Update the app to make it work and get more stars, but now only one star because it worked before the update. Note: My experience may not be the same as others. Since I don't know if all tablets have the same problem.

Fast and easy to use.

First I want to thank the guys for this great product they made For the quick reply they provide another apk and it was so great and easy to use. The product is excellent and I recommend, no lag no heat no freeze and when I start the car the app opens itself, just plug in my iphone, I use my  music along with google maps and it was great 👍 I have the first generation which came with black is not as good as new. I use it with Android 7.1 10.1 inch

Carlinkit USB Car Play Dongle Electronics Cable Connector (HW01-01) and Hyundai Santa Fe 2014

Hooked up and connected to an Android car stereo also purchased from Revain, this allowed my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe to have Apple Carplay. Besides Carplay, it also charges when I plug in my iPhone. The perfect complement to any stereo head unit running Android 4.1 or higher and an available USB port to plug into. Good product. In the image provided you can see the ID, connected to my car stereo via a USB hub. Works every time!

Works great with Android Auto

I bought this for Android Auto compatibility. I have a Seicane head unit based on Android 8.0. At first I had an issue where my phone was slowly draining because the device wasn't passing enough current to charge it. To improve this, after this dongle I connected an externally powered USB hub that supports BC 1.2 and used a good quality USB-A to USB-C cable. I have the Autokit app running automatically on my head unit when it wakes up, to make sure my phone connects without problems. The app…

Works very well out of the box, I've had no problems.

I connected a PX5 with Android 8: to my HU, downloaded the necessary apk and everything just worked (which is a good alternative to the usual difficulties of working with Android HU ). I only use the CarPlay feature so I can't comment on how well Android Auto works, but using an iPhone X running iOS 12 is very fast and smooth.
