The light is bright and looks good. but. No need to connect "pigtails" wires. You should get some 14 ga wire and wire nuts to have enough wires to connect to a typical catenary box. There is no wire in this block. just a place to connect the wire. Also didn't match the screw holes in my round electrical box on the ceiling. Mounting bracket has improperly positioned holes for standard US 4 inch electrical sockets; it is clearly made for European boxes with slightly smaller dimensions. I could drill another hole in the bracket to put it in the box, but it would be so easy the manufacturer would do it themselves. Poor electrical connections, light goes on and off when touched. Electrical connections are you put a wire in and it can't come out making the connection really bad, screws would be much better. The instructions do not say what gauge wire is recommended or solid wire is recommended. I used 14 gauge solid conductors because 12 gauge could not be bent to fit this bracket. Very bright, looks good. The most difficult fixture I have ever installed on an existing box where I removed another fixture. It doesn't come with the usual two screws going into a rod that screws into the blue box on your ceiling. It has a pole that attaches to drywall with dowels. It has a connector on the side of the base for cable entry as if designed for surface electrical power. Once you attach the rod to the ceiling, the wiring doesn't attach to the wire nut pigtails as it normally does.

This light is very bright white. Much brighter than expected and very sharp. I took a risk turning on the lights for 5000,000 and learned my lesson!
