EASY INSTALLATION - Garage Doors, Openers & Parts

This is the coolest, coolest garage door opener. I didn't have space above the door to install a chain operated gate opener, it took a little longer than usual because I have a separate garage with metal and steel posts and had to make my own bracket to secure it, works great and would Recommend to anyone who doesn't have space above the door and hates having to open the door every time. Hand. works great in Colorado. The roller sensor is the most difficult to set up correctly, this is the only

Even better mousetrap after 10 years

This is my second wall chamberlain and it is better than the first. It's very quiet and compact. It is no more difficult to install than a traditional overhead block. But the sheer packaging of a wall mount versus a ceiling mount isn't a problem for a boutique-style garage. The DC motor sounds like it's working hard when you're up close, but that's not a problem. My last device was 10 years old and sounded the same. Be sure to attach the small motor bottom bracket to the wall studs or shear…

You may need additional equipment!

Cons - Opener will not work with many Homelink systems in your vehicle. - Nowhere to get information about which versions of Homelink work with this opener. Repeater to convert your old home signal to the one used by this opener. It costs around $40. - There is incorrect

Great buy, reliable opener

Previous review by user Js about the installation. I won't repeat any of this except that running the cable from the control panel to the opener is actually the most time consuming part of this setup. RJO20 is a great opener and I would recommend it to anyone. which has a torsion bar / torsion spring for garage doors. It's quiet, easy to install and looks great. My only two suggestions are for items not included in this kit - a second remote and keyboard. Both accessories are included, but for…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Overall the garage door opener looks good. A little pricey but the concept is solid. It makes much more sense to apply torque to the torsion bar rather than pull the door with a belt/chain drive. It was pretty easy to install. Probably easier than a regular garage door opener. It's very quiet compared to the chain drive opener, but the new belt and worm drives are pretty quiet too. For the money you should probably go for a regular top opener. However, if you want to save space above the door…

Very quiet, relatively easy to install.

Like other easy installation, did it myself. I needed to add power like most. Also added a tree to the wall to support the opener. It took me 2 days. I took my time and made it look beautiful. The new outlet has surge protection. After thinking about buying a $95 Liftmaster backup battery, I decided to just buy an APC 450 for about $45 and do the same. Chamberlain has no management fees from the app. The wifi/phone app is not wireless, which means it doesn't connect wirelessly to the router and

The WLAN module is included in the RJ070 light. Another hub is not needed

Good gadget. It's very quiet, fairly fast, and if you follow the instructions carefully, it's very safe and reliable. The hub turns on somewhere in the light or an opener, so all it needs to connect to the internet is a good WIFI signal from your router. It took two and a half days to completely remove the old garage door opener and balance the door (not for the faint of heart, if you don't have the exact tools and knowledge, consult a professional). Then I installed a 20mm can with a GFI…

Great opener, but there are important points to check before you buy.

This direct drive opener was easy to install and worked great on my door. But my garage door came with a direct drive opener, so it was easy for me. It was actually easier to install than a chain driven ceiling opener. I had several issues detailed below. Before you buy, however, you should make sure that your current garage door system meets the following requirements: First: Check whether the torsion bar protrudes far enough from the base plate. I am attaching a picture of the latch and…
