Cool Change Waterproof Capacity Install Review

My previous saddlebag was too small for an iPhone let alone tools. So I bought it and it fits my needs perfectly! The mount is a pretty clever design that didn't initially fit my saddle very well, but with a little patience I was able to get it to fit. Very poor quality for this product, customer service unavailable. It's not fully waterproof as advertised and in heavy rain or when my rear tire kicked up splashes the contents of the bag got wet. The front of the bag is very bulky and wide. The front of the bag doesn't taper, so my feet rub against the front of the bag with every circular motion. The zipper broke after a few months of use. I spoke to Revain customer service and they gave me a third party phone number for a warranty claim which

The first thing that attracted me to this bag was its side profile. Rather than looking edgy like most panniers, it looks fast while sitting in place. Brilliant. It's very well made and although I haven't tested it, it appears to be totally waterproof when the zip is closed. The only thing I don't like is the bulky zipper. It is difficult for the zipper to smoothly follow the sharp curves at the top front and back. *Note: It is likely that the front Velcro is wrapped directly around the suspension seatpost rubber boot. I bought this bag for cycling so I can store my iphone, spare tubes etc. The size is big enough to hold all those items and more. Very nice interior layout and soft material. The bag actually clips onto the saddle clip which is a very nice feature as you can easily remove the bag without removing the saddle clip. The backpack fits tightly and does not dangle when driving. I'm giving four stars because I don't know if the seat clip is compatible with all seat types. My seat is pushed far forward

I bought two of these bags, one for my wife's bike and one for me. We used them for about a week with these minor complaints. We both have a bit of an issue with the zippers, they work well but very close to the seat. I think I could adjust the position of some to give a little more clearance but they look a lot better closer to the seat . For now we will use them as is. An underseat bag has become an almost ubiquitous bike accessory and there seems to be a million different types to choose from. After a few tries, I settled on this one because it was inexpensive, large, and came with a quick release buckle. I've been using a Topeak bag for years and appreciate the convenience of being able to quickly detach it to switch to another bike or just take it with me when I'm parked somewhere. The Coolchange is surprisingly roomier than I expected without being bulky.
