Read before you buy

I bought this to have clean water for water changes and to fill up my 72 gallon salt water tank. I connected it to the bib for the washing machine hose in the garage. Tuck in the Y-tube bib so I can control both. Anyway, the water supply line that connects to the tube breastplate was leaking pretty badly. I put a rubber washer in it and it still leaks. I had to tighten it with channel locks to stop it from flowing. Finally got to the point where it stopped dripping. The hose at the back of the…

The third block is the first disappointment.

This purchase was the third of these devices that I have bought in the last 10 years. The first was for our marine aquariums. Customize it with an automatic shut-off valve, the addition of a 13-gallon pressure/storage tank, and plumbing from the basement mount to the potable water outlet at the kitchen sink. This has served us well and will continue to serve us well. At my parents' request, I installed an identical system for them. Shortly after that, they left the state for a few years, so the

Great product terrible instructions

The first one I got I sent back as our handyman and then the plumber couldn't get it to work properly. The water overflowed and flooded the garage in just a few hours. So we were sure it was defective and sent it back for replacement. After seeing the guys do it I figured I could install it myself, which I did. Same problem. It just ran out of water. Here's what I finally found out. Inserting the TFC diaphragm into the diaphragm housing involves aligning it properly with the o-ring. Well, there

Works as advertised, leaks as mentioned by other reviewers

I took the advice of other reviewers and removed all the canisters, taped the strings and reattached them. I haven't had any problems with leaking water from canisters. Unlike other reviewers, I had no trouble placing the reverse osmosis membrane in the top canister. However, the yellow hose that delivers water from your source does not screw in, but has a pressurized fitting that is prone to leaking when the system is first turned on. We're using the device outdoors so this isn't an issue for…

Don't even look at this product!

I am so disappointed in the product and cannot reach you at the 1-800 number listed on the "Do not return this product" document. Angel number 800, as you know, is a complete advertisement and a waste of time. Then they tell me that 800 for my area is 1-800-712-3000 and more ads. I really hope info@esuweb is a valid email address as 800 phone numbers are useless. Terrible first impression - so here's the real problem. I'm trying to wire the system and so far I've had 5 leaks. The faucet…

Exceeds expectations

I have been using this product for 3 weeks. I have prepared about 100 gallons of RO/DI water for my saltwater tank so far and my only regret is that I didn't purchase a DR/DI filter a few years ago. I just plug it into the kitchen faucet. There was no need for crazy plumbing projects. I'm a bit worried about the durability of the filter system. The original batch had about 8 ppm Total Dissolved Solids (ppm TDS), but I'm up to 15 ppm. That said, it's still a pretty low TDS and I might even…
