The design of this case just isn't good. The bottom of the plastic latch doesn't match the top of the lid well, causing it to twist. Combine this with the fact that the plastic liner is too tight and you're going to have a lot of time and frustration taking the cap off and on again. In addition, after a season, the inner lining begins to tear in the place of the plastic insert due to the constant stress. Save some money and look elsewhere for better quality and more practical iron plating.

These things are made to last! I bought them two years ago, tired of cheap cases getting torn and lost. These cases still look and function as good as the day they arrived! Buying more expensive cases also came with an added bonus! I stopped losing them, they inspired me to be less careless. The magnets are used to hold the club caps on the iron shafts. That seems like a good idea.
