I'm not a knife connoisseur but this is excellent quality. I've used it to cut bread, cheese and veggies, it's easy to use and cleans great. I highly recommend.

This knife is not as sharp as advertised. I tested it on tomatoes and onions and it can't cut them! I only bought it for sushi but the veggies were used to test its spiciness. It sticks to the sushi roll, it doesn't cut well.

I originally bought this just as a sushi knife but when I received it I grabbed this knife for everything. The knife is of excellent quality, I recommend buying two. One for sushi and one for the whole kitchen!

This knife is amazing. I have a decent set of Zenware knives, but I've always had trouble cutting fish or seaweed cleanly. This knife does both with ease. Even thick salmon skin is cut through without the scales coming off, as is the case with many knives.

Wow what a difference between a super sharp knife and a thin knife! Now I love to cook even more! Effortlessly cuts onions and other vegetables! Also ideal for cutting homemade sushi rolls! I hope it stays that sharp for a very long time. The knife also has a sheath which is great for protection and storage.

Only used a few times and really love it. I use mine for work but not for sushi. It glides over raw veggies like potatoes and onions like a slice of melted butter! Be very careful as it is razor sharp upon delivery! I highly recommend!

Exactly what you pay for. We bought sushi for the night with our own hands. There are no problems when used with immersion in water before cutting. I was able to make three cuts before diving back in. I would have liked a sharper blade. Sometimes I had to press hard to cut the roll. Not a bad knife overall, but I might as well use one from my Wusthof set.

I didn't buy this knife for sushi. Instead, I needed a very sharp knife for slicing "soft" foods like cooked steak, hard salami, etc. Listen: I'm not a cook and I understand that there can be better tools for this type of work. However, this knife worked like a champ for me. Feels great in the hand and masters all the tasks I've tried with it perfectly.
