Great product and arrived in perfect condition

The towbar was as expected (I've used it on other cars). Installation went smoothly, although use of a helper or jack is recommended. Would recommend without hesitation. Note that the front edge of the hitch is NOT flush with the front edge of the bumper. It's about 4 inches from the front edge.

I used this to install on my 2007 Ford Expedition. Fits perfectly!

I used these on my 2007 Ford Expedition. Fits perfectly! I installed it myself in about 45 minutes after preparing and setting it up, about 2 hours in total. There's another one that says it's for Expedition, but I didn't like how low it hung. Instead, I researched this one and found it might fit as well, and most importantly, it was larger than the other. So my vote is for 2007-2014 Ford Expeditions. Also nice is that it protects my lower arms from big rocks!

Happiness filled the air upon arrival.

My husband bought it. He's happy about that. Seriously, I've been asked several times to test this on my first weekend of deployment. I also had the pleasure of helping him install it, which was pretty easy compared to how it could have been. No cutting, just sorting. It lasted about 45 minutes but if he did another one it would take less than 30. We use it on the front of our car when we have an RV to load a large load of firewood into our own tractor. We've used it for other things too. One…

Very quick and easy to install with these tips.

Installs in less than 30 minutes. Tip: (2013 f150) dry attach to the frame and it stays because it fits snugly. You don't need to align the screw holes at this point. This allows you to mark the fascia for cutting. I didn't bother gluing the washers to the frame, you can screw in just enough to attach the washer and then lift the part into place. Catching the rear bolts was a breeze with the included wire. Feed the end of the spool through the bolt hole instead of the other way around, it's a…

More than one way to skin a cat!

F-150 2011 2WD Eco Boost, Heavy Duty Payload & Heavy Duty Tow Kit - 8ft bed - Installed in about 30 minutes with the help of my daughter - I have compressor and air tools so maybe 10 -15 minutes faster than hand tools. The instructions are ok - otherwise quite intuitive. Much easier than other reviews suggest. I didn't cut the plastic panel they said needed to be cut - I just pressed its edge against the coupling hole. It didn't come down and was easy to do. It is convenient to put a rack on it

Good hitch, but three things to note

Good hitch, but three things to note: 1) Kurt's installation instructions are unclear and they say you have to put a set of screws on the end of the frame. Good luck with it! I found a video showing the oriental method. http://www.etrailer.com/Front-Hitch/Ford/F-150/2011/C31068.html?vehicleid=2011210732) Is this a two person job or do you need a jack or something similar to hold it up in place when you install the screws. 3) You need to remove the choke and leave it. However, the hitch itself…

I hope this works with my Saris bike rack.

Expedition 2012 EL King Ranch. The front mounting posts had to fit a 3 3/8" slot in the truck frame to install. The hitch was closer to 4". I installed it in a different set of holes towards the front of the frame. I figured these holes would be the ones correct holes to use them when lined up all seemed fine until i tried to attach the casing which was meant to be notched i carved it as directed and more it hits each side of the clutch the veil will never return. It most likely should have fit

Good hitch with one fault

This is a quality hitch but on my 2013 F150 it doesn't extend far enough past the bumper for my multi mount winch. I had to order an extension. It's probably fine for a bike or rack, but I'd like it to protrude about 4-5 inches further from the front of the bumper. It went in very easily. I actually used a brass hammer to spread the fenders a bit before installing them and taped the shims to the clutch wings, not the frame. It slid right in and locked into place. It looks great, just wish it…

Great front suspension! Good for Exterior Accessories

Purchased for F150 Supercrew 2014 4x4 with 5.0 Engine. The goal was to quickly and firmly mount a hitch slide mount receiver made from 2X2X1/4 square tubing into a bracket that attaches to a homemade Hatteras surf pole. He's great at that! Easily holds all his gear and Grizzly's heavy ice box full of ice and fish. Pretty easy to install on this truck but it fits the frame very snugly. It took a little leverage to "spread" the mounting flanges, but they lifted and aligned with the intended…
