Overall I really like this flashlight. This is the second Cygo I have. I got this lighter one as a replacement for my Metro 550 because the battery life on the high 550 setting (which I need for my commute) was short after just a year (says 1.5 hours, right?). I'm now using the 'Medium' setting at 850 which is almost as bright as 'High' at 550 and lasts longer. And I have 850 for a particularly dark and deserted section of the track. I have this light and Taz1200 Light & Motion. Both are very good flashlights - much brighter, longer lasting and lighter than the old halogen headlamps that required external batteries. The mounting interface on this light is durable; probably better than the L&M mount in that regard. Light modes are also good: Strobe, Low Steady, Low Steady, Medium Steady, and High Steady. This is my 4th Cygolite Metro Light in the last 4 or 5 years. I have them on several bikes and have given them away to friends. I don't know how to improve this light. This is my second Cygolite fixture. I bought a Cygolite Metro 420 this spring and it worked so well I decided to buy another one to mount on my helmet or use on my wife's bike.
