Complete junk good for spares

No help, ordered 2 times both times with defect and neither Amazon nor the company supported the product. So now I don't have a car, I have ailing parents and children who depend on me having a working car, just thanks for the smoke and mirrors. Grrrrrrr

Sounds like quality, time will tell.

Arrived quickly, assembled and works as expected. Much cheaper than anywhere else. I will let you know if we have any problems in the future. ::: Updated 5/8/2021 ::: Still working, wife drives this car every day, multiple times a day. Hasn't let us down yet.

Save $600 off dealer repair costs

If you're willing to put in the effort, it's literally 10 percent of what the dealer will charge you. My price was $660! It takes a lot of work to get to the starting location, but once you're there, the installation itself becomes very easy. Works well and I'm very happy with it.

Fits and works great

Perfect fit for my wife's 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Started right after installation. Saved me a fortune instead of going to the mechanic. Took about three hours using cheap car ramps and basic hand tools, socket extenders, various ratchets. Video on YouTube installation. It wasn't too bad if you're mechanically inclined.

Perfect fit for 2010 Hyundai Sonata

Installed in 2010 Hyundia Sonata, perfect fit, works great. I couldn't find one locally for less than $200 with a $60 base fee. I would buy this starter again, it seems its price is close to the grand prize. Incidentally, on the Sonata you can remove the starter from below without dismantling the intake manifold. Made it a lot easier and faster.

Do you get what you pay for?

All went well. The launcher was the correct application and worked correctly after installation. The real question is its durability. Will it work flawlessly for many years? Well, initially I never know what to say when I have a starter, alternator, air conditioning compressor, etc. Time will tell. So far I am very happy with this purchase.

Fits my 2011 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L

I was a bit reluctant to buy it as it was a good $200 cheaper than rebuilt starters my local car dealer could buy but I'm glad it did so was. My mechanic was pleasantly surprised to see how good it was and installed it with no problems. I am very happy that my car is back on the road! Edit: It's been over a year now and it's still working fine. Never had a problem starting the car. Definitely great value for money

GARBAGE! Didn't last 2 years

2 YEAR UPDATE -- This starter is perfect for the 2013 Sonata. But it's a cheap product, didn't even last 2 years (25,000 miles) and broke. Replacing a starter on a 2011-2014 Sonata is a PITA (if you've done it, you get the idea), not something you'll want to do again in 2 years. So don't be a cheapskate like me and just spend about $30 more and buy a Mando brand factory starter that lasted 6 years and almost 130,000 miles. I just replaced that Chinese junk with a Korean made Mando starter which
