My original hole had to be enlarged but that's no problem. Night vision works fine as long as my storm door is open, otherwise all I see is the white circle in the middle. If a person is not tall, it can be seen under the gloss in the center. I was kinda expecting this, albeit with a storm door. I just didn't think night sensors would produce so much light. I didn't have a bright day to determine how good the shots would be, but a shot on a cloudy day was about as good as you'd expect from this

It was easy to install except the existing peep hole was too small and had to be drilled. Night vision doesn't work, but day shots are clear. It doesn't look like a doorbell, and the peephole isn't where people would expect a doorbell to be, so no one knows what it is. I put a little sign that said RING THE BELL right under the doorbell but I don't want that! My door is not in the same room as me and I swear to you this is the only way to hear that call!
