PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED

IN THE VIDEO , IT SHOWS THIS PRODUCT SPLITTING WOOD LOGS.NOPE - DOESN'T WORK.We will use this product for other projects, but not for splitting wood.

Pros
  • Needed a one inch hole in a fiberglass fairing, this bit did the trick
Cons
  • I used this one time and it went dull on the sheet metal i was trying to bore.

Dulled after single use

Dulled after single use - can't use it for that size anymore. Drilling out metal hole on thin metal box. Barely got through, then it was shot. But it was inexpensive and got the single job done.

Pros
  • It’s worthy.Top class performance to compare the price.
Cons
  • Plastic case may not provide adequate protection during transportation and storage

Not Quick-change 1/4 " hex shank

Quick-change 1/4" hex shank did not come as described. It's a round shank for regular drills, not impact drills. Price point may be too high for occasional or non-professional use.

Pros
  • Got the job done. It seem to stall out not sure if battery from drill issue or sharpness of bit
Cons
  • Price point may be too high for occasional or non-professional use

A fantastic cheap alternative

I was looking for a similar product at my hardware store for a project I was working on where I had to make a big hole in a metal sheet to a specific metric measurement, but I live in America and not only are all the expanding hole drill bits in the American measurement system, but they're crazy expensive at hardware stores. I put this thing through a sheet of metal that broke and melted two of my other drill bits and it's still in great condition. I don't know whether or not it will degrade…

Pros
  • I don't know how durable this would be on metal or wood, I used it on ABS plastic and it worked well.
Cons
  • Limited size range for drilling

Probably only ok for wood, not aluminum, not very sharp

I purchased this primarily to to cut a single 11/16 inch hole through 1mm thick sheet of aluminum, and it BARELY did it, after a lot of coaxing and binding up and proceeding very slowly. I know these are just cheap steel bits, not very sharp, and NOT suitable for cutting other steel or stronger metals, I get that. But 1mm aluminum? A steel bit should go through 1mm aluminum like butter (like my other cheap steel metric step bits do). I assume these should be good for wood, and probably only…

Pros
  • got here fast as advertised nice pouch to keep them together and did just what i needed them for
Cons
  • Risk of injury if proper safety equipment and precautions are not taken

5-gallon Container Gardening

Used to create holes in 5-gallon buckets and rain gutter end caps for container gardening. Works great. I can custom-size my holes.

Pros
  • For drilling holes for my doors hardware
Cons
  • Very bad. We used it 2-3 times on aluminum and already dull. Order from someone else.

Works Great! best in my review

Works well for drilling large holes in thick plastic. Home Depot & Lowes had similar bits for 3 times the price. This one does the job.

Pros
  • Have not try is this for metal we try did not wk also hmmm
Cons
  • Difficulty aligning drill bit with desired hole location due to limited visibility of drill tip

Great price for a tool which did the job

I’ve never wanted to use a step drill before, but had a sheet metal task which was otherwise giving me clover shaped holes. I read that a step drill would prevent this — it did — but I didn’t want to pay the outrageous price charged elsewhere. This bit was inexpensive enough that I was willing to give it a shot and the result was beautiful.

Pros
  • it works perfect
Cons
  • mala calidad. no sirven

Great for making grommet holes in WSMs

Purchased this to drill 1.25” hole in Weber Smokey Mountain for silicone grommet. The paint chipped a bit and I needed to take care of some pushed in metal on the opposite side of where I was drilling. Other than that, it was perfect. I took my time and applied adequate pressure.

Pros
  • This drill bit works great thank you.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all types of power tools or drill drivers

You get what you pay for.

This but dulled out on me the first use. I had my Rom as low as it would go. I had to finish with the old bit I was replacing with this one. Maybe I got a bad bit.It happens. If I was using on plastic or something it would have been great.

Pros
  • Good bargains
Cons
  • I am a electrical contractor these bits do not do the job. Maybe for home owners at a 1 time use.
