We need a filter that measures 18 x 24 x 1. Although it is marked as that size, the fine print on the filter says the actual size is 17 3/ 8x is 23 3/8. You can't even round to the label size exactly. This is more than 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch difference on each side. It should be labeled 17 x 23. Therefore, it was sucked in through the hole. We have returned to the Filtrete brand. The filtrete measures 18 x 24 x 1 and is actually 17 13/16 x 23 13/16, so it's only 3/16 inch smaller than advertised.

I am very disappointed in these air filters. It was easy to install like an air filter should be, but it doesn't fit. If the filter is not installed in exactly the right place, a corner of the filter will fall off the edge, creating an opening for unfiltered air to pass through. I have to check the position of the filter daily or more often to make sure it's installed properly. I don't have time for that and don't have to put in as much effort to make sure the filter is doing what it's supposed

These filters work great. I use them in a commercial setting of about 7000 square feet and they seem to work fine. After about 1 week you can see them changing color which means they are doing something to filter the air we are working in. collect many particles from the air that we don't have to swallow. So plus for that. Again and again we open the garage doors of the store with the engine running to let fresh air in and old air out. Will continue to buy them as long as their build quality is
