People who say it doesn't work for Ar-15 are wrong. I decided not to listen to the reviews and give it a try anyway. Worked perfectly, held tight and I was able to apply as much force as I needed without slipping or playing. If you are looking for a castle nut wrench, you will still only use it once or twice in your life. It's cheap and does the job.

I had a small project to extend the lighting in my garage and used flexible hose between the lights to avoid lots of internal overhead wiring. I've included a thumbnail in my Youtube video review. They were recommended to me by a friend who also does manual loading. If you use Lee precision die sets you will find that they come with new locking rings and a very weak and brittle plastic tool that you must purchase separately to repair them. These wrenches (especially 1/2 inch) are a great alternative to them. I wish they were a bit thicker (about 2x thicker would be ideal) but I suspect they are so thin for a specific reason or…
