Those were much better hours. S6 keeps changing views during .

I used to have a Garmin S2. Those were much better hours. S6 keeps changing its appearance throughout the game. And to get back to the viewing distances, I have to turn it off completely and then turn it back on. This is a battle throughout the round.

Pros
  • High-quality workmanship
Cons
  • So-so

Great product would definitely recommend

Love this range finder, sometimes the course can be out of date when recalibrated. Sometimes it's even a year or two out of date, which can be a little annoying. But it seems very accurate. And I like having a range on my wrist

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Good product! GPS on the golf course

I love this Garmin watch. I was skeptical about the accuracy of the watch but found it to be accurate when my husband measures distance. So easy to use and no fiddling with carrying a Sky Caddy or other device that can be left on the track or wheeled around in a cart. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some flaws

Reliable GPS watch despite poor battery performance.

I've already played 3 rounds with this watch. I like it, although I wish the battery lasted longer. After the round I'm already at 50% or less. So in reality you can only get 2 ammo per charge. I don't play with Bluetooth hoping it will help me save battery, but it doesn't. I wish the display could be put to sleep to save power. I wouldn't mind hitting a button for yardage if I could use it to get 3 or 4 shots on a single charge. Since the battery drains quickly, I have to carry my charger…

The Garmin S6 Approach is simple and easy to use

I am very satisfied and even excited about the Garmin Approach S6. He has accompanied me to at least 10 golf games. I play golf at least once a week and am tech savvy so I found the S6 intuitive to use. I've compared it to others and find it the easiest to use in terms of controls and interface. No annual fees are a good thing. The battery cycle is typical for such a device (one day or 16-18 hours before charging. If the watch stays on, the duty cycle increases). Many golfers simply use these…

Light, colorful and precise.

This is my second Garmin Approach golf watch and I am very happy with it. I don't think they're worth $399 if you're upgrading from an older model, but if you're looking for a new one or have the cash, this is a good watch. Pros: - Color screen. There were no problems viewing the screen in different lighting conditions. I rarely use the light button. Works very well on a sunny day. CourseView maps are a nice bonus. I don't really use this feature on every hole, but it's very handy when you want

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Very expensive

Fiction! - Sports & Handheld GPS

Despite some negative reviews I bought this watch anyway and am soooo happy about it. First I want to answer a few criticisms I've read and then I'll give my own impression of the watch. Screen: Some say the screen does not look like the images advertised by the manufacturer. I don't understand what these people are looking for! The screen is fantastic! No, the images do not show EXACTLY what you are getting, but other GPS screens do not look EXACTLY like their ads either. The truth is that…
