Check engine light came on, scanned the codes and showed a small leak in the vapor recovery system. Past experience advised me to check the gas cap, there were a few cracks in the o-ring. Cap replaced, ECU reset, problem solved. Great price, I recommend it to everyone.

Check engine light. 2000 Cavalier Z24. To inspect the gas cap, remove it, cover the gas filler tube opening with plastic wrap, and replace the gas cap. If this fixes the check engine light, replace the gas cap. worked for me I was also able to move the tether.

A few things to note: No cord. It is exactly the same as in the picture. The lid is or appears to be a good quality lid. It fits and appears to be tight. It only takes 3 clicks to tighten. It fits well. A little difficult to turn or loosen. If you have arthritis issues, look for a cap removal tool to remove the cap. The hat arrived on time as promised. So we'll see if that helps highlight the issues.
