Worked well for rack and pinion

Rebuilt my pump, everything went fine, pump no longer whines, everything works but feels a bit weak. All of my parts looked fine inside with minimal wear so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

seems to work fingers crossed they are the latest

does the job but this brand is the same as edelman and motorcraft also came in the same identical plastic bags in my opinion the original gaskets are the best quality.

Pros
  • gasket kits
Cons
  • negative gift

Does what it should.

Worked great to reseal my 95 Ranger 2.3L/s pump, no complaints and saved me from buying a new or remanufactured pump. Keep two things in mind when attempting this; #1, in most cases it is the high pressure hose seal that is leaking, not the pump itself. Nothing to lose, especially small springs.

Pros
  • Rack and Pinion
Cons
  • Expensive

Exactly what I needed!

Exactly what I needed. Restoring the power steering pump is much easier than expected, the only problem is making sure everything is CLEAN. Like a laboratory type clean room, clean. Dust, grit and dirt will equate your pump to an early death. After cleaning the outside of the pump as clean as possible, clean the work area and then open it up. I made the mistake of opening it up before cleaning the case and wasted far more time cleaning all parts, workspaces, bodies, then parts again, then…

Pros
  • Steering System
Cons
  • Drill Kit
