No worse than my Matco sets

Well done. I've had metric medium lengths for 6 or 7 years and still use them. I'm a diesel mechanic and used to work in the auto industry so I pretty much hate them but they put up with it. A+

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Everything is fine

I love Gearwrench

I love Gearwrench. It is of good quality and as a professional technician I would not put it up against the big tool companies. The warranty they have to replace their tools is great too (most tool carts honor their replacement). Nothing fancy just good working tools to get the job done!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Protection

Great sockets. works well with outlets and outlet kits

As with any outlet produced, sizing is an issue for those over 45, but this length is ideal for my telecoms. They seem well made, but I haven't tested them on rusty bolts and lots of leverage, nothing I've dealt with requires crazy torque. I've been banging them with a 20V drummer for a couple of months with no crashes or sloppy installation issues.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Available in white only

Good sockets for hand tools

Waited to use this for a month, not true medium length sockets but they work 99% of the time. They are about 1/4 longer than the same set offered by Snap On and Matco. The only problem I found with them is that the power strip is not the best quality but 100% but again. The fit and finish is truck quality and they had no issues with chrome plating or any paraphernalia.

Pros
  • Sockets and socket sets
Cons
  • Very expensive

My favorite bits are hand and power tools

I bought these first on purpose because I needed a little longer than a grade and shorter than a deep to remove some torque converter bolts. They work like a charm and have become my socket set. The quality is top notch and here at Revain they are a lot cheaper than local shops or the manufacturer's website. I haven't broken any of them yet and when I wipe them down they still shine like the day I bought them. I have used these items on everything from cars and trucks to several children's…

Pros
  • hand and power tools
Cons
  • some bugs

Slightly shorter than deep sockets

I've used medium-length snap-on sockets that I borrowed from co-workers and really liked them. I was wanting to get a standard and metric set until I looked up the prices and could spend $520 on 2 Snap On socket sets, so I found them and ordered them. The main issue I had is that they are much deeper than the snap-in semi-deep, about 1/2" to 5/8" deeper. It might not sound like much but the difference matters, the Snap On seemed like the perfect length for everything you need, the medium length

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
