No problem. Just fuck.

Worked great. I don't understand how anyone can have a problem with that. I measured the other holes on the belt to decide which hole to install it on. There were no instructions included but all you have to do is loosen the stopper with a screwdriver, position the punch so it sits over the brass spacer, retighten the screw and make sure the latch is released. Then just place it where you want it and squeeze. On day one I used it repeatedly to convert some of my old harnesses into harnesses…

The device I received will not work until I understand it.

The device I received didn't work until I realized by reading other reviews that the leather "hole" must have gone from the punched hole into a hollow needle. I noticed that the needles are not hollow, but are filled with something from the factory. I took an awl and tapped out the pen, then tried again; it worked great. However, it takes a lot of effort to make a hole, and even then some twisting is required. Also, there were no instructions, so I had to figure everything out myself. I hope…

Difficult to use if not durable, NOT recommended

I didn't like this item. To change the size of the stamp, you need to use a screwdriver. I used Phillips and the blade kept popping out of the hole, I had to use a straight blade with more force to even loosen the screw to change the punch to the one I wanted to use. You must be very strong to use this item. It's much easier and better to just hit it with a hammer. I really don't think you have enough strength in your hand to use this tool well. However, the tool is very durable and…

Still Going Strong - Punch

This leather punch has been in my shoe shop for over a year and I couldn't be happier. The last hit I received was at a shoe store in my town, and the handle collapsed fairly early on while squeezing. The U-shaped metal bent and warped, so I forged it and kept using it. It was very important to me that the frame of my next one was very strong and the General did not disappoint. I also like shrink gum. Pencils. You will not accidentally slip or break. I wish the hole was a size smaller and since

Warning: Got a used turret punch

Bought a new turret punch and got a used one. The package was already open when I received it and the entire handle was scratched. There was material in all the holes in the wheel to indicate the product had been used. There is nowhere to contact the seller, only information to contact the manufacturer in case of defects. Strongly disappointed. I actually thought the product I ordered had a blue robin egg handle, but the product that was delivered had a black handle. I will try to contact the…

Where has it been all my life?

So I often had to drill holes in belts and other leather goods in my life. and finally settled on a good sharp drill as the best option. However, the results are small and often not very pleasant from a cosmetic point of view. I was working on some leather collars that I used for a project and I needed to modify them and put new holes in them and I wanted them to look professional. So on a whim I evaluated a leather punch and found this one. I wasn't expecting much at this price but I was…

Press hard until you hear a click

Actually I wanted to give the 1 star hole punch a very low rating. Like many others, I couldn't get it to go through the belt or make a hole. But I finally realized I was doing it wrong. Here's what you should do: 1. Press all the way down until you hear metal on metal click. That means you pressed hard enough to make a hole.2. If this doesn't give you a nice clean hole, after punching, rotate the hole punch a little, say in a circle, similar to a can opener.3. It's a good idea to hit from the…

Pros
  • Nice design

  • There are some quirks

Less than $7 for a hand tool

This is one of those purchases that you really only need once and then you leave it somewhere until you need it again a few years later and you realize you have it and you can't remember where you put it So you buy another one and a few months later you find the original in your wife's closet so you throw it in there and think next time you need it you'll remember it. You will not. Anyway, this thing works, it just needs a little muscle power or leverage. I have lost a lot of weight recently…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
