Excellent ventilation. I'm bald, so I probably am.

My head is 59 cm and I didn't have time to find a helmet to try on in the store, so I bought a big one. The roc-loc5 system offers 37 clicks of adjustment and I typically adjust it 8 clicks looser than the tightest setting (and an additional 29 clicks at the loosest setting) to give you an idea of the fit. I was probably a psychic too so the helmet looks a little big aesthetically, but not silly at all. It's attractive and elegant. Excellent ventilation. I'm bald so I probably fit well for the…

My third Giro helmet and I see the same weakness and spares.

This is the third Giro helmet I have purchased. I love the style, fit and ventilation. All three have the Roc Loc feature, which allows the fit to be adjusted with a ratchet strap inside the helmet. The problem is that the plastic strip that attaches the helmet is very thin. The first two helmets broke at some point (see photo). The helmet can also be worn with a broken strap, but the adjustment function will be lost. Granted, I've had years of service from each, but perhaps this is a ruse of…

Feel free to change this if the seller contacts you.

There were no problems with the delivery but the helmet broke 2 weeks after the return period. Happy to change that if seller helps fix it. I know it's not their fault, but the manufacturer should polish their product. The adjusting screw on the back turned immediately. I only had to spend 20 minutes using duct tape to keep it from completely coming off. I've had cheap helmets ($20-$30) for years and the last time I bought them was $50. It was another step forward, and in their attempt to keep…

Quality Helmet - Cycling

Sold by Wheel Traders. The helmet was delivered 3 days after ordering. The manufacturing date inside the helmet is October 2014, so it was manufactured within 4 months of receipt. It came in the original packaging with the product in an outer carton. Weighs 260 grams, in perfect condition. The color is correct. The straps are easy to adjust to an ear position that's comfortable for me. The straps on my old Bontrager Quantum helmet adjust similarly to the Savant. The straps on both helmets lie…

Great design and fit on adult helmets

I bought this helmet after buying a road bike and wanted something with good ventilation, style and fit. The Savant is a great helmet and the "Roc Loc 5 Fit System" and what Giro calls "25-port wind tunnel ventilation" make it a solid buy. It's hard to buy something without trying it on. When I measured my head, I found myself right on the border between large and very large. I bought a plus size helmet and found it to fit perfectly with the Roc Loc 5 Fit System. It took forever to get the…

Great helmet! Bright, highly visible color. Cozy.

I love this helmet. Cozy. Light. And yellow is great for safety - highly visible to vehicles. Easily adjustable with handle on the back; can also loosen or tighten easily while driving. Easy adjustment is important to me considering how many things I wear under my helmet - duster, baklava or brimmed hat depending on the time of year/temperature. Re: helmet color and safety: I average over 5,000 miles a year and see a lot. other cyclists on the road - the two most visible helmet colors for me…

Comfortable and visible protection.

Giro Savant Helmet First off, let me say I've used a Bell Image helmet for decades so that's my only basis for comparison. I bought a medium sized Giro Savant based on the Giro sizing chart and it fits well and comfortably although I'm on the small end of the range for this size. The adjustable head strap with handle is a definite improvement over the Bell and helps keep the helmet securely on your head. The chin strap seems to conform to modern practice, but not as elegantly as that of the old
