Description of ๐Ÿ”ง Gizmo Dorks 1" PLA Filament for 3D Printers: Premium Quality and Functionality

Product Characteristics

This high-quality 3D printing filament is designed for outstanding performance and precise results. Gizmo Dorks' PLA Filament for 3D Printers 1.75mm offers the perfect balance of durability and ease of use. The filament is made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), a biodegradable and eco-friendly material derived from renewable resources like cornstarch or sugarcane. PLA is known for its low warping tendency, which ensures smooth and stable printing, making it an ideal choice for both beginners and experienced users. The filament is carefully vacuum-sealed with desiccant to maintain its freshness and prevent moisture-related issues, ensuring consistent quality throughout your printing projects.

Important Parameters

When working with Gizmo Dorks PLA Filament, it's essential to consider the recommended nozzle temperature range of 190 - 225ยฐC. This temperature range allows for optimal extrusion and adhesion to the build surface. With the right nozzle temperature, you'll achieve excellent layer bonding and minimal stringing, resulting in cleaner and more precise prints. Moreover, the 1.75mm diameter provides a smooth and consistent flow through the 3D printer's nozzle, ensuring consistent results every time. Whether you're creating intricate models or functional prototypes, these crucial parameters will help you achieve the best outcomes for your 3D printing projects.

50 hours of typing with mixed results but can't fault the filament.

First, the coil is HUGE and a bit heavy for some settings. I've been printing direct from the spool, but since my setup seems to be crowded, I've decided to move some of the filament over to the standard 1kg spools. so that the printer is not so heavily loaded. The thread seems a bit "soft" compared to other threads I've used (Amazon Basics, Overture, Lukebox, others). found that the Steinbock tube was worn out from thousands of hours of printing, so I cannot fault the filament. Since my testโ€ฆ

Thin thread, but pay attention to the rim size

I ordered a reel and constructed a storage system with housing and dryer. I have a Modix Big-60 and print prints that take 1 to 2 weeks. The prints are excellent, 205ยฐ, 0.3 nozzle, 0.1mm height and 30mm/s speed. Very dense, but a lot of my work has large flat areas. Then I ordered a gas station and it went wrong. The coil rim was 1/2 inch wide which is way too big for my new coil gauge system including the body. The product photo has not changed. The thin coil was still visible on it. Fourthโ€ฆ

The coil is almost ready, there are no failures yet

Order more. I haven't tried it on my other more traditional 3D printers like the Ender 3, but I went almost to full spool on my Qidi X-Pro and can say that every print came out exactly how I wanted it. I don't even have to apply glue or tape to the magnetic board. The prints hold up well, but not so well that I can't easily peel them off the plate. I go through countless threads to design my mockups as I print, proofread, refine the design, and reprint. So this big spool was great and I'm soโ€ฆ
