I was impressed by this spotting scope right after I bought it. I am an amateur photographer and have a good quality Nikon camera. with a 55-200mm zoom lens, etc. I wouldn't be able to replicate the telescopic capabilities of this 20x-60x/80mm scope for less than $11,000. The good thing: the optics are really great with this one. On a bright day I could see something 6 miles away with reasonable clarity. So I bought the Gosky 20-60x80 and the Vortex Diamondback 20-60x85 with the intention of doing a comparison and getting the best performance. Assuming you're waiting for the price drops that sometimes happen here at Revain, you can get Gosky for $200 less than Diamondback. Summary (TL/DR): The scope's optics were good enough to see .22LR holes in a splatterburst target very clearly at 200 yards. It's way better than the $60 options that have already run out.
