It keeps what it promises. I wish I had had one of these things many years ago. I have many farm machines with oilers. With a cap and grease bucket and a cap and grease coupler, I can fill any grease can in seconds and never run out of grease. I work at an auto repair shop in Willow, Alaska, every time we had to lube we had to refill the gun and it's a messy job buying lube in bulk instead of consumable cartridges. Extremely hard work and it works great. Being able to relieve the pressure by raising the foot pump when you're done helps prevent a mess. Unfortunately, it's impossible to grease anything without making at least a little mess. It's so nice not to have to sort the cartridges as it uses bulk lube. I bought a bucket of Texas Refinery Paragon 3000 and it's a great lube. Highly recommend and Jay the owner of Lock N Lube is a stand up guy and a pleasure to work with all his team.

Refueling was difficult and took a while but works great once full and operational. It's easy to use, generates a lot of pressure, but the initial fill requires a large amount of lube, and you need to keep the lube level low and make sure it doesn't lose fill. It's new but I like it so far. It's worth never having to change those little grease cartridges again. The pressure relief feature is very handy as it makes it very easy to lose weight. Someone commented that it's heavy, which is true, but it has a lot of lube in it. I bought a 5 gallon can of CRC Sta-Plex Red EP Premium Lube and used almost half of that can in G.Gun. My main motivation for purchasing the G-Gun Grease Gun was to avoid the endless changing of tiny tubes of grease and the frustration of running out of grease in the field while lubricating a piece of equipment. I have a backhoe with about 30 grease fittings. The joints require a lot of lubrication and I only needed one G. Gun for this machine. When I received this foot operated grease pump I installed the fittings with no problems. Now it's service time again and the grease flows around the famous lock tip, between the tip and the fitting.
