Nicely made, a pleasure to use

But I've always used knitting needles and you can, but also extra cords and needles. You will love these needles.

Hiya Hiya Knitting and Crochet Needles

Love Hiya replacement needles. Interchangeable needles are very convenient. Hiya needles have a sharper point that makes knitting a pleasure.

I love her! - Spokes

I love the interchangeable Hiya Hiya. They have very smooth joints so the yarn doesn't get caught. In addition, they do not unscrew when knitting. High quality bamboo, a pleasure to knit from. The silk case they come in is so pretty too! Have tried many replacement kits and this brand and Addi are the best.

and these are great! Love to knit with them

I was skeptical about the quality of the replacement bamboo needles in such a small size but they are excellent! I love knitting with them. A well thought out product that is fun to knit with.

Cons
  • Very expensive

Best quality and functionality at a very good price.

These are really good needles for the price. Perfect for someone like me who rarely, if ever, uses needles larger than 8 gauge. I actually bought a size 9 with an adapter to use with my "small" cords. So I think I now have everything I could possibly need. I've been using Hiya Hiya replacement needles for a number of years and find them nice and 'sharp', rarely come loose at wire crossings, NEVER break (I've changed 6 different KnitPicks at the same time) and are very comfortable. with…

Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

SEVERAL replacement kits gone through, Denise (bad cable with brains), KnitPics (Knitter's Pride is the same, just in different packaging), KA and now Hiya Hiya. Knitting needles tend to fall apart (horribly!) when you have a medium to large project or when you've been knitting your project for a long time. I haven't experienced that with KA or Hiya Hiya (cable mounts rotate), it's a great innovation/design. Larger KA needles have a bulge/edge near the connectors (annoying, sometimes you have…

Cons
  • Unfashionable
