Well done. Sturdy door hardware and locks

I've had one of these for 20 years and they seem very strong although never has anyone tried to break into my door like this I've don't know if I know how they will actually hold up. However, they are nice because you can open the door without anyone breaking in right away.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Classic door guard is the best

My toddler used to open and close doors so this is the perfect solution to keep kids out of the front door. I've experimented with others that are good, but this style seems to work the best, especially if your door jamb is the wrong shape.

Good door chain with unbeatable cheap and short screws

If you pay extra for this lock you get a nickel plated chain and bar with mismatched shiny stainless steel screws. The screws provided are 1 inch diameter screws with a polished finish. I would return it for that alone, except I happen to have the longer nickel plated screws on hand. Unless you have a nickel plated screw I seriously doubt you would be happy with the look of the ones supplied.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • No machine

lock with many faces

some doors in my house don't close so my pug keeps slapping all of them while they are in the bathroom. He will stick his head in and then go all the way in and the door will swing open. Now the first nudge with his head is enough to make him realize he can't get in, and not enough to prevent the door from returning to its half-closed position. Also, I built it in so that it can be opened from the outside if needed, as I was just looking for a way to curb my pug's enthusiasm๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • almost everything is fine

Easy Breezy for Latches and Latches

I use this lock to keep my bedroom door closed because the door sometimes blows away in high winds. Although screws are included I used Gorilla Glue. After deciding where to place the lock, I applied Gorilla Glue to the flat parts. I cut pieces of tape beforehand to stick them on the outside until the glue sets. The lock could be used immediately. Once the glue had set, the tape was removed. This lock is easy to install and provides privacy if you prefer to be behind closed doors without a key.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Easy Installation of Door Hardware & Locks

I bought this for my bedroom door. The door has a combination lock for outside access. The housing office has an encryption code and I understand why they need it, but I don't like them entering my room while I'm inside because they don't give me enough time to open the door. So as long as I walk to the door after they knock, if they decide to just open the door before I answer, the chain will stop them. Of course I don't care if they come in while I'm not there, but while I'm there I prefer to

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not everything fits
