The instructions on the back of the box are a joke but the unit works as described

Firstly the instructions on the back of the box are practically useless. Some keyframes are so distorted that they cannot be read. It is very important to be able to read the key ID when resetting the master code and other login codes. Luckily there were instructions on YouTube and they were on the website. You just don't have to go to other sources for instructions! The device itself is easy to install and works as described. I wouldn't put it on a door that will be exposed to severe weatherโ€ฆ

Perfect Purchase!: Hardware

***As mentioned in another recent review. Scan the QR code on it to go to the website video and more detailed programming. I'm still giving 5 stars as the weaving instructions were very easy*** This is my first home so I went to town to update/personalize whatever I could! I put this on the laundry room --> garage door last night when NONE of the keys I was given turned the latch. Which prompted me to search for something similar. A very nice modern touch to match the rest of my decor andโ€ฆ

Installation was so easy a toddler could do it in 10 minutes or less.

Okay, upfront let me say: 1. I'm a single mom2. Three rescued cats and two dogs run at my feet. I have cancer 4. I had surgery 3 days ago and 5. Today is the first day the kids are going back to school in a pandemic. Apparently today was the worst day to install this thing. But my high school junior needs to be able to get home from her new school a half hour before I get home from the small business I run every day. So hell I had to install this thing by morning (I'm not going to give it a key

Good basic lock, best with deadbolts

I downgraded to 4 stars from the original 5 because 1 of 3 locks I bought were broken. I ordered one first. Installation and programming was very easy. Even for a very incompetent woman like me it would take 5 minutes but took a little longer because the lock wants to pop out a full 1 inch but the hole in my door frame was 3/4 inch and the lock didn't like that. So pleased with the first one I immediately ordered 2 more. One of the doors is over 30 years old when the standard hole size was 1โ€ฆ

Excellent value for money and quality. A few thoughts

Overall I'm really impressed. This bar has many nice features that usually come at a higher price point. It's well made, attractive, easy to install, and has some nice features. The ability to add random wrong numbers to confuse prying eyes when entering a passcode is a really smart feature. My only complaint (and it's really not the product's fault) is that the e-bolt doesn't fit in the bolt hole. in the door frame if you have a thick seal or the door is misaligned. The bolt and hole shouldโ€ฆ

Good enough if you know what you're doing. (manual and guide below)

TL;DR change master code: โ˜…โ˜… + enter current master code (default 12345678) + # + 1 + enter new master PIN + # + retype (to verify) + #. The LED below the keyboard should blink green throughout the process. If it flashes red, you may have entered something incorrectly. The instructions are listed here. My opinion is below.
