I bought these brakes for a Fuji CCR2 road bike (with Cane Creek SC3 brakes with cartridge pads) where they replaced a badly worn set of standard pads. They were quick and fairly easy to install since they are cartridges. All you have to do is loosen the set screw, then take out the old pads and put in the new ones before replacing the screw. These things are just cool! I've used Swiss Stop pads, they're fantastic, but no better than Kool Stops and significantly more expensive. I can only speak for the black and orange dual brake pads, but as a Seattle resident I can say that they are fantastic on my hilly, wet roads.
