Lincoln Electric 1230 Whip Hose Review

My grease gun is not working. Unfortunately, one end is bigger than the other and I didn't know that. Now let's try to find an equal length hose with 1/8 NPTF fittings on both ends.

Yes, it's a tough, tortuous hose, but it gets even better! The one I replaced was exactly the same, not sure if it's original or not, but it works great. It was my father's 1200 Lincoln. I received it when he died.

Yes, it's the original Lincoln hose for the 1163 Air Grease Gun, but that's where it ends! These are the toughest twisted hoses you will ever use! I don't understand why anyone can't make a Lincoln hose with an odd ball end 1/8"NPT x7/16"-24UNEF on a high pressure flexible rubber hose.

Threaded to fit grease gun. However the fittings and springs on the original are gold which tells me they were class 8, the new hose has what looks like class 5 zinc plated fittings on both ends. The springs also look like low quality steel, however the quality of the spring does not affect the life of the hose.

There is no mention of non-standard streams in the listing. This should be in the title of the listing to avoid negative reviews. One end is 1/8-27 NPT by default. The other is 7/16-28 parallel thread, ball end. Conventional grease guns do not use this 7/16 size. Also no adapter. As such, it is unsuitable for most Revain customers. Check the topics before buying. I bought this hose and didn't realize that one end is 1/8 NPT and the other 7/16 x 28 as far as I can tell. So the fields are the same, but the forms are definitely different. The 1/8 NPT thread fits my Lincoln 1142 and grease fitting, but the straight machine thread doesn't!
