Easily recommended after a month of use

I installed this in my closed trailer to haul a Kawasaki Vaquero 2500 miles. It was easy to install after reading the instructions and watching youtube. Very strong construction, after assembling, it is easy to load and unload without help. Put the front wheel of the bike into the bracket, get off the bike and attach the two rear straps, tighten, then attach the ratchet strap to the front wheel, done. I actually used it to store my bike as I don't have a garage where I am. Lower the gate onto…

Pros
  • Easy set up
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

It lacks the correct screws and number of screws.

I think the product would work great if they sent me the screws listed in the box inventory. Except I only got 10 copies of the same carriage bolts to attach to the main bracket. This left me with only 2 D-rings on the ratchet strap, even though each had 4 D-ring holes. I had to use long carriage bolts that didn't match the required bolts in the instructions for connecting the chock assembly, and the bolts to attach the chock to the bracket were completely missing. I had to improvise…

A few things are broken, but overall great.

Great product and easy to install, keeps our bike secure on the trailer for the most part but when we received the item the plastic covers that go over the ratchet strap broke on both of us. It doesn't affect how the ratchet straps work, but they don't have a plastic cover now to keep them looking better and in top working order. We wanted to replace these parts but couldn't figure out how to replace just the ratchet straps or plastic covers without sending in the entire unit. So we were just…

Good but not so good for immobilizers and chocks

I wish the chock itself was a bit wider so the thicker front wheels hold more securely. I also didn't like that the straps were advertised as being mounted behind the bike, but the instructions suggest floor mounted zip ties are mounted in front of the front wheel to pull the bike into the wheel chock. I installed mine as advertised on their website (on the back of the bike) and used additional straps to keep the bike from rolling backwards by attaching it to the D-rings that were attached to…

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Excellent and immediate manufacturer support

I cannot praise the immediate manufacturer support enough. After installing this kit on my trailer and securing the bike for the first time, I was disappointed that both ratchet straps slipped off once tension was applied, preventing me from securing the bike. My only option through Revain was to return the entire kit for a replacement. Obviously this wasn't the best option as I didn't want to unscrew everything. I contacted Lock-n-Load directly by phone and explained my problem with the…

Cons
  • Some shortcomings

Great system for my closed trailer

I bought a Lock N Load system for my 7x12 closed trailer. We stock Victory Cross Country and V-Star 950T. One important thing to note: if you buy a set that includes Lock N Load straps, you also get D-rings. I didn't know that, so I ordered D-rings. D-rings have good bearing plates. Wing washers are used on the front wheel chock. Installation was easy, I use the top hole on the wheel chock for both bikes. Holds the bike very securely so you can get off and buckle it up. I was concerned about…

Good product but needs work

I bought this item to take my 2019 Indian Roadmaster to a workshop for service. Installation was easy and felt solid. When I loaded my trailer bike into the inventory, it was standing upright with no kickstand. The wedge attaches to the baseplate with two screws that slide in or out of the baseplate for quick removal (other screws included for permanent placement). When I took my bike to the shop to have it ceramic coated, I hit a bump in the road, the rear propeller detached from the baseplate

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Fits

Poorly designed base

First I put two sets (a pair) of such supports in two different trailers and bases in the third. I never had a problem until I bought my last set of truck trailer skid plates about a year and a half ago. The base plates have slots for the screw heads to slide into and there is extra steel behind these slots to allow the screw head to slide but be held in place when tightened. The steel on the back wasn't spaced properly and the screw heads didn't slide in place. I've been transporting bikes…

Pros
  • Great for a small house

What a great concept! come in and out Stays upright when you buckle it up.

I really like this device, but it's not perfect. Sure, it does what it's supposed to do, but there's enough weird stuff that would have to be if the company really paid attention to details. But first the GOOD. I have a 6x10 enclosed trailer for my Goldwing. I had a traditional Pingle wedge and it worked great, but Lock N Load is so much better! I used to have to force my wife to keep the bike upright for a short time after riding the bike in and hitting the block before I could secure the…

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
