Highly recommended for changing and removing pins

This is by far the best tool for removing pins from ATX and Molex connectors on a motherboard. I've used them to install solid aluminum combs on some extensions. Worked great.

  • Very good value for money

Not perfect, but good enough for removing pins

Removing pins with 11-03-0044K can still be tricky, but works well enough to remove a small number of pins. Some pins are difficult to remove and require extra work to loosen. It failed completely at the pin, which I just had to push out with another tool. Care must be taken not to snap the ends of the 11-03-0044 K connector from too much lateral force (i.e. make sure the connector is in a vise if you want to push hard to avoid accidentally screwing it in becomes). . The item I received was decent quality steel - I wasn't worried about the tips bending - others have commented that the tips are very easy to bend, I wonder if they have a different one version / have a mixed stock. "The tool is easy to use and exactly what you need to remove pins from ATX connectors. Removing pins is never SUPER easy, but with this tool, you can do it multiple times without worrying about breaking the pins themselves. useful - this item is more expensive, but for a reason…

Weaker than before

I have an older version of the same Molex product and the metal used to make the pressure contacts is either a different type of steel or not treated to maintain its rigidity. The contacts have been bent since I took them out of the box, probably because the instrument was shipped in a plastic box in a bubble envelope. I was able to straighten them without much effort, but when I compare this new one to the original, there is a definite difference in the quality of the materials. Let's just say

This is the cable you need to wire up your ATX power supply

If you want to remove pins from an ATX power cable you will need this tool. It may be expensive, but it's worth it. After a day of unsuccessful attempts to use other tools and household items to remove the pins from both the male and female ends of an ATX12V extension cable, I purchased this item, a Molex Mini-Fit. Extraction Tool Jr. Following the instructions in the Electronics for Dogs review dated January 10, 2017, I was able to delete all the contacts I needed within minutes. I have found…

Great tool; works fine when used properly

When I first used this tool I was able to successfully remove all 30 pins from three Molex connectors in a modified ATX wire harness without the pins or damage the tool. I started with the translucent body connector and removed one of the corner pins; This way I could see from the contact side of the connector when the tool was properly seated. After some practice I switched to opaque plugs. I suggest holding the connector so the rows are horizontal, then inserting the tool from the pin side…

Most useless tool I've ever bought

I'm fully aware that this review may sound fantastic or reactionary but I promise you it isn't. I'm writing this a few weeks after insulating my power cables, which worked very well, not thanks to this tool. This tool really is the most useless tool I've ever bought. He's beyond terrible at his job. In fact, I never got it to work, not once. I have a feeling that the metal that goes into the connector is either too thick or too short or both. If Dicke explains why this tool doesn't work, it's…
