Not Worth the Money

Based on our own experience, we cannot recommend this shock absorber. Though it was marketed as a top-of-the-line option for improving automotive performance, we found that it did not live up to its promises. While the shock did help reduce some vibrations on rough roads, it did not offer the improvement in handling and stability we were hoping for. At this price point, we expected much better results.

Pros
  • Pro: Reduces some vibrations
Cons
  • Con: Does not improve handling and stability as promised

Inexpensive Affordable Softride Shocks

Well. They're more in the comfort zone than the sport zone, that was my fault. Now my early Buick drives more like a Cadillac El Dorado. I will replace them with something more rigid. Again, this is my preference.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts & Suspension
Cons
  • I won't say anything

You can always count on good service from Monroe.

Used to replace shock absorbers on my 1975 Pontiac Grandville. they were of great importance. The front wheels provided most of the "walking" when driving this heavy car, and the rear wheels stabilized the weight by doing a good job of eliminating "bouncing" on rough roads.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
