Well built tool, compatibility chart is wrong.

The tool is well built, looks like any other adapter. Revain said it would fit a 2010 Acura TSX V6, but that's absolutely not the case. I don't know which cars it fits. The ball joints are too large for installing and removing receivers. Had to install universal adapters to get the job done, major disappointment when the car fell apart.

The list is incorrect, NOT consistent with the 2008-2012 agreements.

Wrong list. A change was made in 2008. The receiving cup is too small and does not have a deep enough cutout. The mounting cup should also have a small cutout. It looks like otc 6734. For 2008-2012 you need otc 6653 or similar. Also, my delivery was a day late. So I had to wait another day to find out I had to order another adapter.

  • Large and bulky

good tool! I've been hitting the Acura TSX's low ball joint with a 4 pound hammer for two days to no avail. This tool can remove this ball joint in less than 5 minutes. You must use this tool in conjunction with the large clamp from the Autozone Ball Joint Rental Tool. It fits snugly in a tight space - no need to remove brake/tie rod end/anti-roll bar, just raise your fist. The steel is a bit soft. Hitting it with a hammer will damage the surface very easily - much worse than a $10 socket. For…
