Highly Recommended: Injectors & Parts

My 1997 XJ 4.0 had cylinder 6 misfires, new spark plugs, wires, distributors and a bunch of new sensors that I couldn't figure out to save my life. I ordered them and MAN! My jeep has never run better

Cons

Works great in fuel system

Before installation my stock injectors were squirting. After installing them on my '93 Jeep YJ 2.5L, everything ran smoothly. Didn't increase fuel economy or power, but fixed spatter. Since they were cheaper than the original vaporizers, I'm satisfied.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Capacity

Not good for 1991 Cherokee

Well, they're cheap. The first set went through in minutes, resulting in a difficult start each time. The second set works fairly well but resulted in an average drop of 4-6mpg (from 17-24 to 13-17mpg). I can only assume they weren't designed for earlier (pre-facelift) 4.0 jeeps.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Little repairability

Don't waste your money and buy based on the number of stars in the rating!

I installed these in place of the stock injectors on my 96 XJ. Immediately they caused saliva and spatter from the engine. I figured we'd dump them and let the computer get used to them. It's been 4 days and I started having heavy starts with slight bumps at idle. It goes away after pressing the accelerator or shifting into a gear, but that tells me there is a leak. We return to the regular jets and give them back.

Smoothes the idle and eliminates gas smell from the exhaust

I have a '96 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) with a 4.0 V6. It has over 200,000 km. I don't know if the injectors have ever been changed. The engine ran rough when idling and the exhaust smelled strongly (too much petrol). After some research, I narrowed the cause down to a fuel injector (or more than one) that was stuck open, meaning it was supplying gas to the engine when it wasn't supposed to. This causes rough idling and, above all, the smell of gas from the exhaust. It was very strong! We couldn't keep

  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Running Speed
