This is a great option to use in place of a protruding latch or folding bar with release cord on the other side. Works very well with double doors (however one door needs to be held in place). The downside is that the door doesn't latch when closed.

Works well, wish the post was a little longer, I've almost completely gone through the set screw. 2x4 thickness, plus t1-11 siding, plus 1x4 edged board will work for this, but it's a very tight fit. Within a few weeks, a small groove formed in the 2x4 wheel that helped keep it tight.

Good center lock and deadbolt, but once you loosen the two small mounting screws it's not a lock anymore. I modified it with a set screw and nut combination to avoid this situation. Normally, locks don't just let honest people in. The scammers have everything up their sleeves. This will slow her down.

This lock works great! The first one that was sent to me had a small set screw that wasn't fully seated (no problem, it sometimes happens in the manufacturing process). The seller responded and immediately sent me a replacement rear end. I would recommend this lock as it is sturdy and well built.

I replaced my existing lock with this one as I lost the keys from the original set. When attempting to install the D-lock internal fastener, I found that the set screw on the lock shaft would not tighten. I had to reuse the old D lock to get the job done. The manufacturer had to thread the tap through the set screw hole so that the set screw could be tightened onto the shaft.
