Non Thin Wall - Oxygen

Slightly thinner than a standard wall oxygen sensor. Didn't work for what I needed it for. I have other thin wall outlets for various uses and they are much thinner than this one. If you want a really thin walled O2 sensor socket, this isn't it.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

Good solid tool but does NOT work on Ridgeline

Does not work on 2008 Honda Ridgeline front under radiator. The patch was too tight. I had to be in Florida state for a week due to lack of time, I cut 1/4 inch from the corner of one of the holes on the outlet, about an inch down so I could get away. Other than that, it's a solid, solid tool.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not bad

Great tool, 22mm fits my Lexus so well

Fits my Lexus IS250. It had to be tightened, not loosened. A word of caution when attempting to remove the O2 sensor: first apply penetrating oil, wait a while, then heat the metal around the sensor with a hair dryer. Now you should go ahead and try to remove it without removing the sensor. Let's just say I learned the hard way.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Worked great to remove a stuck O2 sensor in the exhaust manifold.

Worked great to remove a stuck exhaust manifold oxygen sensor on my Chevy Colorado. The deep slotted base was too flexible so the sensor quickly popped out of this base after several days of using the PB Blaster and heating/cooling cycles. The star shaped hole is great for finding the right angle with the pry bar and the bushing is strong enough not to deform when force is applied.

Pros
  • Excellent Construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Inexpensive Product in Sensors

I bought this product for one reason: increased socket depth. This has been added to my instruments as a more dedicated O2 jack as I have several others. I downgraded my rating by one star simply because the socket is not marked OEMTools as shown in the picture. This doesn't affect usage, but it does make any support or warranty claims more difficult as you have to remember who did it. This is clearly a rebranded outlet, just with no additional branding other than the packaging. The socket…

Pros
  • Free for Educational Purposes
Cons
  • Useless Features

Bad landing. Low quality. Too bulky.

I like OEMTools but not this particular head. Both the 7/8 hex head and 1/2 square drive are loose and messy. Also, it's too bulky. I bought this head because the square hole is an 8 pointed star which gives more options for breaker positioning. But the fit is so loose that the drive pin just falls out. There is no stopping or stopping at all. The extra slots in the drive hole keep the detent ball from snagging on the handle stud on the bushing, and the hole is too big and sloppy to begin with.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I won't say anything
