One that's good for spares

If this type of puller has been recommended to you, this might be what you're looking for. I broke three other types of two arm pullers trying to remove the two arm puller from a Mitsubishi Starion and this one pulled it off without drama on the first try, mounted on the shaft but after that it was almost effortless. It actually took less torque to pull off than the ones that broke, and when I started leaning on it with a fairly long 1/2" ratchet, I was expecting either a pretty powerful kick…

ideal for bipod arms and other suspension parts

This was purchased to remove what appeared to be an original bipod arm on a 1965 Mustang. The centering tip can be removed, which is useful when the tool needs to be slightly off center as it should have been when removing the connecting rod on the Mustang. The tool worked fine, but removing the connecting rod wasn't that difficult, so I can't say the tool's strength was tested. Removing tie rod ends and intermediate arms also worked well. I bought this to use as a ball joint puller because it is similar to the Mercedes lower ball joint puller used on the Mercedes W123 and W126 vehicles.
