This was purchased to remove what appeared to be an original bipod arm on a 1965 Mustang. The centering tip can be removed, which is useful when the tool needs to be slightly off center as it should have been when removing the connecting rod on the Mustang. I bought this to use as a ball joint puller because it is similar to the Mercedes lower ball joint puller used on the Mercedes W123 and W126 vehicles.
