Description of Front Power Running Board Motor with Bracket | Fits 2007-2014 Ford Expedition & Lincoln Navigator | 119.0 Inch Wheelbase | Replaces 9L7Z16A506A 9L7Z16A507A | Part Number 747-900

OEM Part Number: 747-900, 9L7Z16A506A , 9L7Z-16A506-A , 9L7Z16A507A, 9L7Z-16A507-A, FSM1P6, FSM1P5. Power Running Board Motor Fits for: 2007-2014 Fo-rd Expedition; 2007-2014 Lincoln Navigator,2014 Fo-rd Expedition 119.0 Inch Wheelbase Left; 2014 Lincoln Navigator 119.0 Inch Wheelbase Left. Running Board Motor controls the working of running board. The running board can protect vehicles from various forms of road debris. When passing through a deep ditch and a steep slope, if the chassis is not high enough, the bottom of the foot pedal contacts the ground for the first time and emits a sound of friction as a warning to protect the chassis from injury. When passing a very narrow road protection pier, it also plays the same role, directly protecting the door and side panels. The power running board motor typically fails two ways: the pedal is stuck on the hinge or due to motor failure. Our pedal motors have undergone extensive material and cycle testing to ensure durability and performance, and are easy to install by yourself. No special tools required for installation. Please check the part number on your old part housing before purchase. Only part number is the unique ID.

Misleading and Inferior Power Running Board

When I tried this product, the brackets didn't fit my car model as advertised. Additionally, the motor stopped working within a week of installation.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor fit and motor malfunction

Works perfectly ! Ease of installation.

When we bought our Expedition, the motors were frozen to the side of the running board. Clearly lived in the state of Northern Salt Road! Ford doesn't cover them as they consider it wear and tear. Easy to install!

Pros
  • The footrest motor controls the footrest. The side stand can protect vehicles from various types of road debris. When the chassis is not high enough when going through a deep ditch and a steep slope, the bottom of the pedal touches the ground for the first time and emits a friction sound as a warning to protect the chassis from injury. It also takes on the same role when driving through a very narrow traffic safety bridge by directly securing the door and side walls.

Works perfectly! - Footpegs

My '08 Expedition footpegs have a clean crack in the metal of the mounting bracket which I believe after makes unsure. The dealer said this part would cost $1,100 (PER SIDE) + install. And they were out of stock and due to Covid/supply chain issues they were out of stock/would have been ordered. I searched the internet, found them and ordered - got them a few days later and the dealer agreed to fit them (although they gave no guarantees as these are not Ford genuine parts). They've been working

Pros
  • Footpeg Motor Fits: Ford Expedition 2007-2014; 2007-2014 Lincoln Navigator, 2014 Ford Expedition 119.0" wheelbase left; 2014 Lincoln Navigator 119.0" wheelbase left
Cons
  • Nothing here
