A good product. good for vise and locking pliers

These are good if you need to remove the clamp. Would give 5 stars but there is only one problem. They need to be a bit more compact to fit in the places you want them to be. Just a little long for me.

Pros
  • great for small houses
Cons
  • faulty

Great little tool for hand tools

Pliers needed, small enough to fit a 3/8" fuel line into a tight spot on my Polaris Ranger fuel pump. Worked great. The adjustable surface on both hands helped with navigation in tricky spots The ratcheting system keeps the tension on the clamp good until you can swivel the hose over the fitting This is a professional tool No, but very suitable for use in the home garage.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • No instructions

This will get the job done.

I didn't really like the pliers, but I didn't like them either. They got the job done but if I had to do it again I would buy a different type. They were a bit tricky to operate with one hand as they are not spring loaded in the open position. I think if they were I would have no complaints. It is worth finding such a set and spending a few euros more if necessary.

It just works! You need that in life!

For literally years I struggled routinely servicing my cars with pliers and a spring clamp vise attached to the radiator hoses. I'm getting older and it's getting harder and harder to articulate with pliers to fold the spring clips. Eventually I broke down and bought a set of these hose clamp pliers and couldn't be more impressed. My only regret is that I didn't buy them many years ago.

Used: Vise & Locking Pliers

This is not a must have tool. You can live and work in your car without it. But now that I have it and use it all the time, I couldn't live without it. The locking feature opens the clamps and holds them in the open position, allowing you to remove the hose with both hands. In addition, the handle is perfectly shaped and rotatable, allowing the clamps to be opened at any angle. I should have bought this a long time ago and could have saved myself a lot of trouble.

Pros
  • Sleek Design

  • Some Issues

Not a tool that most non-repairers will use frequently.

This is a tool with a special design feature. As such, it does what it's supposed to do brilliantly. I bought mine because I needed it for a renovation and it was cheap enough to buy. I've only ever known how to fix most things. I tend to have a high natural apatite to understand how things work and just see what it takes to fix things. I also know how to fix something on youtube and how to fix it from them. I still have mine and have used it to fix other things unrelated to its main design…

Turn it into a work tool for $125.99! by ---HERB THE POWERMAN---

Basic design of a 5***** pliers but their ability to work as intended -1* Cup tip is good but claw tip is useless. It almost always flies. Here's the solution ----- Remove the scratching post and clip C and throw them in the trash. Take a 10 x 32 hex head screw about 1 inch long. Insert the screw into the hole with the head facing in and lightly secure the screw with two marks. Finally, using a Dremmel power tool with a 2" carbide cutter wheel, sand down the crosshatch on the head. Now this…

Does the job - locking feature is great

Purchased to replace the radiator hose. The locking feature is great for holding the clamp in the open position during tube insertion/installation. Just a small complaint that cost me a star - the serrated end of the pliers is rotatable which you need to orient it at any angle you can grip the clamp. However, it rotates too easily, and when I tried to grab the clamp at an angle between the tubes and other parts, I adjusted the alignment, and as soon as I touched the clamp, it moved out of…

Low quality! Do not do that! Look elsewhere!

First they sold me what looks like used pliers. It's covered in fat! The claw and handle have chips and abrasions. The washers holding the jets are not strong. It's not even a full wash! Your attachments will slip! Of course you can say that these are replacement tips, but what's the point if they are poorly finished and fall out of the tool? The washer is thin and looks like it will break easily. Instead of a semi-thin washer, it is better to use a strong pin. I just received my order in the…
