I love this product so much

I love this product so much because when it works it works great. Unfortunately, this only works for about 45 minutes at a time. I have two displays, each with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Works fine for about 45 minutes, then the laptop loses the video signal. Disconnecting and reconnecting does nothing. The device still does not light up and the laptop does not recognize the video signal. I have to restart my laptop every time this happens. The driver has been checked and the latest versionโ€ฆ

The VGA monitor was still great so of course I wanted to keep using it

I had a new HP laptop with Windows 10, no VGA port but with two external monitors, HDMI and VGA. The VGA monitor was still great, so naturally I wanted to keep using it. So I bought the cheapest USB to VGA adapter first and it just broke after a few minutes so I gritted my teeth and bought the more expensive plugable. a little longer but still crashed; I was unhappy. Plugable was very responsive and supportive but still didn't work. But over time I found and uninstalled all the drivers for theโ€ฆ

Works great, I'm only using it as a secondary monitor at the moment but haven't had any problems so far. I've found it to work fine with a single monitor, but keeps crashing when running with dual monitors on my desktop and surface. I had to go back to my desktop as it doesn't support dual monitors from my Surface. Plugged it back into my desktop and got the same dual monitor drop issue. I moved one of the monitors back to my desktop's graphics card and now it works fine with one monitor (forโ€ฆ

AWESOME for multiple displays - flawless with 6 screen settings.

I rarely review products on Revain, but my appreciation for this small company and their small devices compels me to do so. They just work and are an inexpensive way to increase the number of displays on your PC. I use two of these to drive four displays for my six display computer (see image). I can't comment on the ethernet capabilities as I don't use them, but the video adapters work great at 1080P and all other resolutions I've tested. Old but relatively fast computer (3.4 GHz Xeon E3-1240โ€ฆ

Runs to problem but CS helps

Recently bought this adapter. I downloaded and installed the necessary software from the manufacturer's website. Once the adapter was plugged in, it took a long time for Windows to recognize and install it. At first it seemed to work fine. I have a third monitor connected to my VGA port on my HP laptop. After a while this unfortunate thing happened. 1) My monitors (other than the laptop screen) turn off (monitors say no signal) and turn on again a few seconds later as if the adapter wereโ€ฆ

The performance is much better if you only use it for one monitor.

This is a decent product for its purpose. Performance is much better if you only use it for one monitor at a time, but you can use it for two if you want and it works quite well. I don't think it works at all if you don't have an actual GPU - it seems to be using your existing GPU, which can lead to some oddities (e.g. the nVidia control panel won't open if it's present). Monitor plugged in.) I had some instability issues - sometimes it decides to freeze the screen and the only way to recoverโ€ฆ

It Just Worked - Computer Cable Adapter

Due to the coronavirus I suddenly had to work from home. I work in IT, mainly computer programming, and I'm used to having two flat screens on my desk. Suddenly being limited to a 15 inch screen on my laptop didn't help. I ordered two flat screens and when they arrived I connected one to my laptop's HDMI port and the other to a USB-C port via the USB-C to HDMI port. The second monitor didn't work. I noticed that the USB-C port on my new laptop is data only, meaning it doesn't supportโ€ฆ
